Handpan North presents a handpan / hang experience workshop with Handpan Musician Kim Metcalf. Rare and beautiful - these instruments are rapidly gaining fans around the world but it is still difficult to get hold of them or hear them in a live setting. Take this rare opportunity to get hands on experience of playing these instruments with an experienced player. Covering the history, basic playing techniques, tips on how to get your own and what to look out for - this worksho...p will have a very liimted number of particpants and will give you alot of touch time. This is the only workshop of this kind currently operating in England that we are aware of, and only a limited number of them are run every year so take your chance to get up close and personal with these beautiful sound structures. Due to the expensive and delicate nature of these instruments this workshop is not suitable for children, it is however suitable for complete musical beginners !

The energy centre in Hebden Bridge currently has some availability for additional therapists to rent its calm and private space. Consisting of two interconnected spaces the rooms are quiet, private and have a nice vibe. Once part of the therapist group you will have access to an online booking system and may book space as and when you need it. The space is available 7 days a week 8:00am until 22:00pm. Rates are competitive and we offer discounts for regular use, block bookings and half and or full days. No min booking per month required, you may book on an hour by hour basis. Still just 2 places remaining for this 2 day non residential workshop at The Energy Centre in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, which is coming up in a couple of weeks time. We'll be exploring the darkness through movement, creative processes, Shamanic journeying, nest making and feeling and preparing our way towards moving into the Winter Solstice and Winter energies. Finding our way through the 'outer' and often busy activities of preparing for Christmas with all it's bright s...parkle and lights, when in fact nature shows us this time of year is for settling down into the Earth, hibernating and going into the dark spaces. How can we resist the outer pull and stay connected to our inner animal? What are our fears around darkness and stillness? No previous experience is necessary and this small group will find it's own way towards connection with other humans and with the cycles of nature.

I came to see the lovely Jayne ~ shamanism embodied for a One to one session today and it's was truly magical ! Helped me reconnect with really powerful parts of me I may have not realised in the past and created some absolutely amazing synchronistic moments ! One word ~ WOW !
