We were lucky to be able to try the new Flaming Grill menu and it is amazing value for money ,well presented and very tasty ! We will definitely visiting again in the near future .The experience was made even better by the friendly welcome by the staff .Many Thanks !

Was lovely going back here after so many years. The food was great, the staff were great and the atmosphere was great. It was lovely seeing some old faces too.

The food here is fantastic and the staff are lovely and very helpful the only thing that spoiled it was that this is the 2nd time we've been and both times my husband wanted to try the defeat the meat but both times there was a problem and couldn't? The first time they ran out of meat and this time it was going to take over an hour to make he was gutted! But we will still be back as everything else was really good and when he does get to try it I'm sure he will love that too? Also the sharer ice cream dessert is massive and 4 of us couldn't finish it! �

Lovely and clean, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Food took a little while to come but was obviously cooked fresh so it was worth the wait. Really reasonably priced compared to some of the other pub chains too. Would definitely recommend and will return �

I was at the Hilltop with my partner on Friday, despite the idiots who kicked off trying to spoil the celebrations for the group on their Christmas night out and the other people just enjoying a Friday night, (however they were removed quickly and professionally by the police and the manager) we had a really good time, food and service excellent.

We will definitely go back!

I had my son 13th birthday meal with family there was 28 of us the manger couldn't be more helpful she was fab the staff where amazing too and the food was fab too thank u so much much for Saturday night x

I frequently visit this establishment with many of my family and friends and I have never had a bad meal, top class service and top class food at excellent value for money even better when I have a voucher lol.

Had out first visit yesterday for my daughter's 20th birthday, from placing our order service was fab , the food wow is the only word , their was 7 adults and a nearly 2 year old , nothing was too much trouble , to hear from my 79 year old dad , id like to come back here is praise indeed , we had burgers , mixed grill , gammon , chicken skewers , steaks and a child's mixed grill also deserts, not alot was left , thank you for giving us a new place to eat ...

Great well presented food, the sevice was also very good. We was a mixed party ages from a few weeks old to one in his seventys, the staff where very attentive yet not over the top. We was allowed to take as long as we wished and never felt rushed, i would reccomend this place to anyone who likes good food at great value prices.

Food here is amazing, been in here a few times recently with my boyfriend and both tried the food challenges, absolutely great value for money and the staff here are lovely, very welcoming and friendly, especially Barry, Ash and Mandy, would definitely recommend �

Excellent meal, my ribeye steak was the best i have ever had, cooked to perfection and my partner loved her meal also. It was only 3 sausages and mash but she eat all of it, which is usual for her to finish any meal. The staff were all friendly and very helpful and their service was excellent also. If i could give them more then 5 stars i would, 10+ from me...



Highly recommend you go and visit and have a great meal, you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely beautiful place gorgeous food and great staff especially Barry if we could take him home we would he’s just lovely and always wears a cheeky smile making our experience even more enjoyable if there’s a top staff award he should get it hands down #welovebarry

Lovely food and great friendly staff, didn't take long for food to be served and was a great atmosphere too, would recommend to friends and family

Was their yesterday and the XL mixed grill and steaks were very nice

But something needs done about the chips

They were greasy inside and hardly any potato inside the chips

Hopefully next time we go the chips might be better and the 3 of us might eat them

In fact home cut might be better than the frozen chips you use

went to the hill top tonight for a birthday and the meal was terrible we all ordered by table the orders was all wrong quite a few of us had steak which was so tough and full of gristle you couldnt chew it they did offer to change some of them and gave two people their money back .we were one of the first to order and was told there was half hour wait we waited over an hour for our food and everyone in our party had finnished when we eventually got our food safe to say never return again

Ribeye & rump steak was seriously tough (Cooked rare & medium rare).

Bbq rack was good

Mac n cheese was tasteless

Steak was meant to come with a free beer - wasn’t offered that option when we paid - asked when we were served our food and the waitress said sorry but you have to ask when you pay. *that’s not in the t&c.

Won’t be going back.
