Went to Fuel last Friday and another Friday recently, nights here were completely different from nights at the students union fuel, there was actually a decent metal room and a pop punk/pop room that was also fun and enjoyable to have a laugh with my friends, they actually played some MCR and 30stm at some point, which was a nice surprise for an ex-emo (now goth) like me drinks were stupidly cheap spent like £15 on 3 double spirits and a cider all night (then my friend got me another cider).

Cloak room was £1 for my coat which is very reasonable, there was toilet paper in the ladies' toilet, djs and staff were all super friendly, atmosphere was great (no fights) felt safe and at home as usual (as a woman it's nice to feel like if u want you can move from room to room without the need to drag all your friends with u in order to feel safe). I once went to tiger tiger and had lots of guys trying to rub their crotches against my back or grab my ass, this doesn't happen at keyclub, the way people dance makes this type of harassment a lot more difficult to occur - if you know metalheads you know the way we dance. Also in general i find that the alternative People that attend key club don't put up with that kind of behaviour, everyone is more civilized.

Pls keep playing Marilyn Manson Bury Tomorrow While she Sleeps and Bring me the Horizon

I was there on your opening night, and when I have time I go there on a weekly basis, still the best club in Leeds! I don't go to any other clubs

So on Saturday I visited Leeds for the first time with friends for a proper night on the lash, I ended up in here to finish off. Reasonable prices for the city (never known somewhere stock Savanna before so top marks for that), decent playlist and great atmosphere, very friendly and no trouble (which coming from Hull is quite a lovely change of pace to not see scraps or arguments break out).

Will definitely be visiting again on my next trip to the city!

User

Saw some lad get kicked out for giving a lass a love bite on her boob which she clearly felt uncomfortable with right next to the bar. Great action from the bouncers for kicking him out.

User

My home away from home, my second family, the music scene that's welcomed us so warmly, and the place where I end up in compromising positions for the sake of alcohol. Love ya

User

Home away from home. Saturday is the best

User

Came on my friend’s stag. They wanted the rock. I spent three hours in the pop room.

It was awesome

User

Brilliant venue and very well managed. The staff are a great bunch, I even got escorted by one of the staff's arms from the entrance to the lav and around the place till I got my bearings, what more could you ask for. And it's very clean B=) It was my first time at the club last Wednesday for Kingdom Of Giants plus 3 other amazing bands, but it will be the first ov many :) aw and it's very clean

User

Awesome as always, I’m not from Leeds but I travel from Barnsley as often as I can just for the great atmosphere and the music! Last night was the first time I witnessed the other room open. This alone will definitely bring me back! Until next time 🤘🏻

User

A great night at the Key club last night to see Chapter and verse and Courage My Love real shame not a big turn out but both band's gave 110% I can't believe that people paid 3 times as much for a ticket to see The Kooks and probably 10 times as much on drinks and never got the chance to chat with the band as I was lucky enough to last night . Also the Key club is a great venue

User

First time at the club for the Lionize gig. Had an interview with the band beforehand and security were helpful, which makes a change as they can be obstructive. I like the 'pokey' venues for gigs with no major barrier in the way so at least there is that level of intimacy. The support band who were surely a joke, granted not the club's fault - more photographers than band members - don't give up the day jobs lads - the 'singer' was forever over the 'barrier' and at that point I wished for a proper barrier as much to keep them in as much us out. Sound was decent, no complaints. Drinks comparable with other venues although I can't drink crap lager and only have red wine, I got one but they run out by the second ask so water it is then. For a gig. I'd definitely come back, not really bothered about club nights so I'll keep my eye on what's up 'n' coming gig wise.

User

Usually great and my favourite place to go in Leeds, but last night was not good at all. Really disappointed about last night, crowd control was horrible and it was way overcrowded inside. One of our group went out for some air and was told she couldn't go back in yet because it was too busy, even though we'd already paid entry and had stamps on our hands, so ended up just going home instead.

User

usually enjoy key club always go on a Friday but when on a Tuesday for once. The woman who was a bouncer was in a bad mood as soon as we got there, we came out for a cig and she wouldn't let my friend back in as she was too drunk but she was fine? There were people inside extremely drunk. looked on these reviews and other people have had exactly the same thing. asked to speak to the manager but apparently there isn't one?

User

great bands spackers on door. dont bother they will manufacture some story to drag u up the stairs for no reason at all

great bands shame about the attitude of the so called bouncers who pick on any random person. in my eperience stay away these ae cunts

User

Went here last night and were treated appallingly by bouncers. I took my shoes off because like any female when they've been in heels all night your feet begin to hurt. Rather than being told to put my shoes back on, I had a bouncer come over and tell me that I was too drunk to be in the premises!! My friends were in completely shock as I was the most sober out of everyone. Also as I am still breastfeeding, there is no way I'd even be drunk. Completely ruined my hen doo. All I wanted was to go somewhere and have a dance

User

Place is great but the door staff are wankers, you would more than likely have nothing but positive reviews if you sacked the young bouncers that think they are solid

User

I’m never one to complain/ write a bad review about a place I once loved but was treat absolutely vile tonight, wouldn’t let me back in on a dead Tuesday night after two drinks because I’m ‘too drunk’, bouncers lying saying it’s come from the bar-staff when I never actually went to the bar myself? I’ve never been kicked out of a nightclub before and don’t tend to start with keys, pretty jokes.

User

I'm a chav? I was expecting Darkzy and Ussy, and ended up with slipnot. By the end of the night I wanted to slip my not! Absolute waste of money and would not recommend this mosh pit

User

I want my £5 back overpriced drinks and overpriced club got in to listen to loud music with the bass turned to high and watch a load of people occasionally bob there head and talk to each other over the the loud music

User

I can’t rate the music or atmosphere here but I will rate the shit door staff! Taking Id and not following procedures and leaving a female alone with no consideration as to how she’s getting home etc is disgraceful. I’ve worked in bars and nightclubs and would never leave a vulnerable female to walk alone. The young male door staff was clearly intimidated cause he had to radio for back up when asked why my friend wasn’t allowed in when she had presented id with her age and he’d taken it and refused to give it back. Absolutely disgraceful!!!
