It's heartbreaking to see the destruction & devastation caused in the aftermath of Storm Ciara up & down our Valley. Today the clean up & rebuilding of homes/businesses with the help of our amazing community begins. The gratitude for our amazing flood wardens, volunteers, Calder Valley Search & Rescue and of course the emergency services is limitless. To try and help those impacted by the floods & for anyone involved in the clean up; we are happy to pr...ovide FREE hot drinks, food & a warm welcome break.

We will have a limited menu available today (as we too are affected by transport/deliveries) but will endeavour to cater for everyone. For anyone not impacted by the floods we would kindly ask you to make a donation as we will be collecting for our amazing Calder Valley Search & Rescue.

When we opened our doors for the first time, I don't think we were quite prepared for what was about to hit us and quite frankly I think we were flying by the seat our our pants tbh! In the initial months there were late nights baking and cooking as we found our feet, countless tears and sleepless nights trying to figure out how to overcome all our challenges that lay ahead. I've come a long way since then but... Running a small independent business gets h...arder as the years tick by - the government are squeezing you for every penny they can get from you, suppliers sadly have to pass these pressures on to us as the customer, meanwhile we're here trying to stay true to ourselves and what we set out with. To provide good honest food, with ace coffee and an all round great experience. I cannot thank every customer that has walked through our doors, it's more than buying a coffee or a sandwich; it's believing in us and supporting a small business. To those that come in daily, weekly, those we know by name, your gorgeous pups- you are what has made our business, and we wouldn't be here without you so THANKYOU 👏 from the bottom of my heart. Nor without my staff: my amazing team of friends. Thankyou to everyone for your TripAdvisor and google reviews, Facebook posts, spreading the word and in any way you have helped us. Thankyou for your kind words, your friendship and oodles of hugs this year. For that I am eternally grateful ❤️ Who knows what 2020 holds? Life is short, so live it. Happy New year everyone.
