It's always great to receive feedback, here's what one chap had to say;
"Very interesting talk, well presented with very attractive visuals. I know most of the facts as it's an area of interest. The audience will vary in knowledge and my focus follows a serious illness in 2012."
Its always brilliant to receive great feedback!

Crazy Cauliflower!!
Yes I just used the words 'crazy' and 'cauliflower' in the same sentence... why I hear you ask, well....
Cauliflower is declining in popularity, which is a shame, because it’s a powerhouse of nutrients. It seems to be especially protective against cancer and heart disease, and is packed with vitamins, minerals, and powerful anti-carcinogenic compounds that may actually block tumours.
... And guess what? we have some top recipe ideas in our blog to make sure you get your Cauli dose in this week!

So grateful for my super quick vegan dinner tonight as I’m feeling behind on my own work (when your job gets in the way of your work!!)
Again following #bettyrockerrecipes for this one. I’ve been so hungry all day (and so eating 🙄) I’m so glad of a light dinner!
What’s on the plate:... @bfreefoods multi seed wrap (lightly cooked to become my ‘pizza’ base) Home made red pepper hummus (garlic is strong in this one 😜) Hemp seeds Black beans #merchantgourmet sun dried tomatoes 🍅 Spinach, watercress, rocket, 🌿 basil 😋
Fantastic #veganpizza ! #thenutritionalrealist #balancedplate #coloursonaplate #veganfood #protein #fitfam #homemadepizza
NB If you’ve not tried @bfreefoods wraps they are awesome, vegan, gluten free. They do sweet potato, grains..loads of options ✅

A fully loaded lunch today as I’ve done one 15min intense workout and have vinyasa yoga later (I know we’re working on strength so it’ll be slow!) with @yorkshire.yogi
Working from home means I’ve been able to get distracted in the kitchen coming up this version of ginger steamed fish - thank you again #bettyrockerrecipes
What’s on the plate:... Salmon (skin on for fats) steamed on a bed of veg broth with ginger, garlic, red pepper, spinach, edamame, beet leaves (home grown). A side of buckwheat groats A side of courgettes (home grown) in a little coconut oil
Very proud of my home grown additions 😁 helping to get my #balancedplate (1/2 veg, 1/4 protein 1/4 carbs)
You can do this with white Fish too to give it some kick and of course make it an evening meal. I’ll not be eating much later as so full! 😋

A variation on messy eggs for breakfast today thanks to #bettyrockerrecipes .
After working with a corporate client yesterday discussing breakfasts we came to the decision that eggs were more a weekend thing...well proved myself wrong today! Probably took longer to create this post than my food 🤣
What’s in the dish:... 1/2 bag baby spinach, 2 eggs, 1 clove garlic. Cooked in coconut oil all in same pan. 1/2 cup rosemary potatoes (red ones) pre cooked (I batch cooked last sat) and just reheated in same pan. Cherry tomatoes (courtesy of Dads greenhouse) to garnish = #balancedplate 👊🏻👍🏻💪🏻

Ever wondered why we get sugar cravings? It's such a vicious cycle. If we have too much sugar, it creates blood sugar spikes and then crashes, making us feel fuzzy headed., irritable and craving more sugary snacks.
We have some great Sugar Busting Tips here to help you curb the craving!

Thank you Lisa for your invaluable and helpful guidance in relation to my food intolerances.

Having come away from my 2nd consultation with Lisa, 10 weeks into my health improvement plan, I can't thank her enough for the difference her advice has made to my overall health and wellbeing.

At the start of this year I was feeling pretty rotten with outbreaks of eczema and frequent migraines but both have reduced significantly over the last couple of months since implementing Lisa's recommendations.

I would definitely recommend Lisa for her in depth knowledge, supportive approach and useful guidance in relation to all things nutrition.

User

Lisa provides a great service - down-to-earth advice and tailor-made suggestions, paired with achievable goals on diet and nutrition. It's a winner! I would definitely recommend Lisa if you're having issues with your own diet and health.

User

Lisa is extremely knowledgeable in her field. "Realist" is absolutely the right word for her business. She made subtle changes to my diet to address issues which i have been suffering from for years. I have always avoided seeing nutritionists as I have been worried they may want me to completely change my eating habits. I'm pleased to say my symptoms have all vanished - and it was easy for me to implement her suggestions as she did not recommend anything too radical.

She is professional, thorough and clearly an expert in her field. Highly recommended. Thanks for all your help and support Lisa!

User

Lisa has changed my life! Honestly! I've had various problems with nutrition, diet, allergies, intolerances, and stomach issues all my life and Lisa has come along like my guardian angel and sorted me out - literally! I would absolutely recommend Lisa. She's fab! Knowledgeable, friendly, non-judgemental and flippin' effective! I would absolutely recommend her! Thank you Lisa! You've worked wonders! Thank you so much!

User

I loved Lisa’s individualistic and holistic approach to nutrition. Not only did she use her knowledge to offer me sound advice, but she also used my own awareness regarding emotional eating, which helped us to devise a strategy that worked for me. I am very grateful for the invaluable time I spent with Lisa. Looking after myself and choosing the right nourishment is as easy as pie now!

User

I have loved working with Lisa and really like the fact that she is definitely a realist! I feel she went that extra mile and has kept me on track when needed. I found her to be knowledgeable with lots of ideas and tips, not just in the nutritional field but with you as a whole. Thanks again Lisa xx

I have had two appointments with Lisa and she has been fantastic. She is very real and honest, she explains things in a way I can understand and she discusses what changes she thinks are needed. The good thing is that she doesn't suggest you do anything you won't achieve, it's all about small steps. The changes have been small but have already in 1 month made such a difference to my health and well being. Her space aged scales are also fantastic, they give you readings to see what your body composition is. They also give you your metabolic age. I have to say I was shocked at mine and this has been a great kick up the bum! I'm carrying my readings around with me so when I make food choices (coal fire or paper fire) I can remind myself that I have to reduce my metabolic age and it helps me make better choices. I couldn't recommend lisa enough, she is fantastic. Thank you.

User

I had a consultation with Lisa, out of interest rather than because I had a particular concern. It was time so well spent! I learnt some really useful things, and received some very helpful advice about how to manage my energy/hunger pangs throughout the day. With some very minor adjustments to my nutrition, I am feeling great benefits. Thank you!
