Whats not to love about this place? Nice food, wide choice of drinks, nice atmosphere and good music that gets played. The Venue is also class as well!

We were there on Easter Sunday for Doyle's gig, the couple we went with had been once before and recommended we eat there ..... great good and plenty of it, and a lot of Vegan/Vegetarian options too, went for a short walk but only had 1 drink away from the venue and went straight back to The Parish .... good staff, great beer fab venue ����

Superb food, great music and brilliant staff, thank you Amber for looking after us so well!

Saw Mindswarm at the Parish last night. Lovely beers, Kind staff and great place for Live music! :)

Me and a few friends came up to Leeds for the weekend, the plan was pre drinks in the Parish before moving on but ended up getting too drunk as the prices were too good to miss out on.

Ryan was a fantastic barman who put up our drunken selfs even after me going missing for an hour.

Spade(I think his nickname was) has an awesome mustache and amazing dreadlocks was super chill as well

Louis(Sorry if i spelt it wrong he was on glasses) was a pretty swell guy and had a great choice in drinks



Overall 10/10 would come for pre drinks and get wasted again.





P.S Ryan should get in touch with me or Seaton you're a swell guy and i remember talking about the minis you restore.

Jamie the barman in the venue is easily in the top 5 barmen I’ve met in a barn/venue this year �

I travelled from Berkshire and was greeted with Great beer �,great food �, great barstaff ��, great atmosphere. Plus got to see an amazing great band Sound of the Sirens (Folk/Rock/Acoustic) Will definitely visit again.

Great selection of drinks, friendly staff, awesome live music venue and excellent tacos -what's not to like?

Great food, great atmosphere and staff are really friendly

Good beer, good food great atmosphere. You need to get your health and hygiene up to 4 or 5 stars though rather than 3 ;-)

Brought little un in for lunch. She loves the food as I do! Hard for her to like anywhere lol always recommend the Stairway burger ��� great service as always too �

Awesome venue, fantastic staff! Even though the ramp had been stolen, they still went above and beyond to make sure I could still access the show. Especially Jo, she is a true legend! Never let her go; that woman needs an award or something for her awesomeness! Her innovation, determination, & DIY skills are second-to-none! The bar staff make a mean cocktail too! Shall definitely be returning! 😉



Of course, Bullets & Octane were amazing too! Definitely have those guys back again; they’re STILL my most favourite live band - so much energy! The crowd & atmosphere in general were epic!

As a regular, I can honestly say that its a really great environment for a good drink and a fantastic night out with plenty of gigging bands and a lot of variate's 😊 As a musician, it is the best venue in yorkshire and a pleasure to play our music for. If it wasnt for venues like the Parish, we, as musicians would be stuck.

One of my favourite places in Huddersfield, great music, great DJs, great alcohol selection, great food, parish card discounts, fantastic music venue, lovely staff. The toilets are the only thing that could do with a little more work, but that shouldn't stop anyone coming.

I like this bar, but last night was disappointed. I ordered a bombay sapphire and herbal fever tree tonic, I went to the toilet while my other half got the drinks, when I got back, there was a bottle of soda water by my gin. I asked again for a herbal fever tree tonic (it's the only place I have found that sells it) and the barman apologised and went to find one. He eventually found a bottle and gave it to me. When I poured the tonic and took a drink, I found that I had been given hendricks gin, (which I do not like) and then noticed the tonic was actually fentimans. It was busy at the bar, so I didn't want to queue up for ages to swap the drinks so I just drank it. I don't get to the bar very often, and had really looked forward to the chance to have one of my favourite drinks, as I can't find the tonic anywhere else locally, so was disappointed.

Great live music venue, but you really need to do something about the male toilets!,

definitely below a very low standard.

The parish is a great place with great atmosphere and usually great staff too, there's just one guy that iv ever had a problem with, he's the fat one that works behind the bar with the neck tattoos, rude and ignorant, clueless to who's next to be served and when It was my turn and tried to get his attention he told me to "wait my turn" busy bar about 5 people waiting and this little chubba is getting shirty, probs distracted thinking about the family bucket from kfc he's gonna destroy on his own when he finishes
