Went here for my birthday meal with my husband , the food was amazing and very well presented , staff were all very polite . Couldn't fault them on anything . Brilliant all round �
Went for dinner last night, nice menu good Atmosphere, staff were friendly and attentive, unfortunately we didn't have room for desert so we will need to go back again soon!
We stayed here last night and loved it. We had a beautiful, stylish room with extremely comfy queen size bed , hairdryer, hot drink facilities, with the added bonus of a Tunnocks tea cake to have with my hot chocolate.
Earlier in the evening we both had different home made pies, mint and lamb for me, steak for the other half, 1 as delicious as the other. The staff could not have been more pleasant and attentive.
Cannot recommend highly enough.
We all had a fab day here yesterday, staff very friendly and food and cocktails were amazing 🥃🍹🍸 was at a fab table we were there all afternoon, defo be back 😁 oh and the sticky toffee pudding is a must 😂
Was in late on a Monday night recently, very cosy relaxed atmosphere.
Couldn't fault anything, excellent !!

Massive thank you to the lovely Smiling and patient staff working Saturday night x (especially patient cos you ladies must have found it hard to get a work in around us chatting).
A group of 12 hungry people did not phase the staff and with everyone choosing different dishes from the fab menu and specials board it wasn’t no easy feat for the chef . The food however was hot , tasty and plentiful, the menu was uncomplicated and something for everyone x 12 empty plates says it all , definitely be back , worth the 2 train journeys to get there .
Had a great time absolutely fantastic
Best night sleep food was 5* as well
We will be back again soon

Great wee place, staying down here for work, rooms are spotless and very comfortable, food in the bar is excellent, had steak pie last night it was really nice, had the battered fish last week which was fab as well.
Good atmosphere in the bar, the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
All in all a great wee place to come for a drink, something to eat or an overnight stay ���
Great menu. Great service with a smile. Lovely atmosphere. Says it all really. Best place in Galashiels 😃

Came to Galashiels to scatter my mum's ashes on Monday and wondered where we were going to eat and came across the salmon years ago my dad had many a pint in there so we went in and was very Impressed the decor is lovely the meal marvellous staff very attentive I would highly recommend and if in Gala again will definitely be back
