As our festival was a bit of a washout we will have deals on ales and gins tomorrow, £2.50 a pint on any ale, double gin and mixer £6!

So everything is set up but the weather is shocking, music will be inside although the bull still going on outside, bloody weather, I've wanted rain on a Sunday for the last 14 weeks, bloody typical!

Anyone have a pop up gazebo I can borrow??

Come down to Sophies gin bar at the beer festival tomorrow, And try a variety of flavoured gins all garnished with fresh fruit!

Showery weather tomorrow but fear not, we have marquees, even for the rodeo! And if all else fails well move inside. BEER FESTIVAL FROM 12PM BBQ GIN BAR LIVE MUSIC REAL ALES RODEO. Parking available over the road at oldroyds farm and carvery still being served

What a gem of a pub! There is a mostly traditional menu with freshly made very generous portions with real ales on tap too. As an extra bonus there is regular live music from local artists and open mic nights. This is not a chain theme pub pretending to be friendly village pub, it really is!!

The barstaff/waitresses are great and can't do enough for you and are always nice and chatty and always talk to our kids.. Can't beat the price either.. I am yet to try any cheesecake as always been too full but I need to as everyone says how Amazing it is.. If I could give 10 stars I would ☺️☺️☺️

Visited the Unicorn Inn for the first time today (for Mother's Day with my husband and daughter). We had an exceptionally nice carvery, I mean really really exceptional, absolutely cannot fault it!! Followed by dessert.... the choc orange cheesecake was to die for, and to make it even more spectacular it was free cos I'm a mum!! Woohoo! Will definitely be back, thanks to all the staff and the wonderful food �

This is a terrific pub. I was introduced to it by a mate who plays their regularly at the open mic nights. If you like live music in a brilliant setting then a good night is guaranteed. On the 1st and 3rd Saturday's of each month. Oh - the food is fantastic too!

Proper pub grub like it should be. None of your pre-processed mass produced muck. Great choice of steaks, burgers, pies, curry, fish, salads etc and proper homemade chips as well. Friendly service and real ales. Is that enough to convince you?

Proper home cooked pub grub, friendly staff, great with the kids, roaring fire and a lovely community feel. It gets our vote!

Out with some former work colleagues Friday Night. Brilliantly received by the staff and regulars. Lovely little pub, staff brought round bowls of chips and the beer went down so well. Well work a visit....!!!

My regular place for Sunday lunch, great food and service. Look out for Saturday night open mic night, some great local talent that will blow you away. Support this local pub, it's a gem.

Great food nice change to eat somewhere where the foods not bunged in a microwave and actually fresh and tasty well done chef.

Fabulous food, the best tasting food I have experienced in a long long time, shame we had to go home, could have ate here every night.

Don't be put off by the exterior, which could do with a touch of paint. A great pub. Excellent real ales, food was great. Large beef and ale pie was amazing and nearly blew the doors off. I was hungry and that nearly beat me. Bar staff were welcoming and very friendly as were the regulars. One of the best all round nights I've had in any pub in the country. Dirty Jagers, I'll say no more! 👍
