We had our Christmas Lunch there with our friends on sunday4th Dec. The food was excellent! Value for money😃I would recommend this pub also for-parties🎉

Visited yesterday for a private lunch in the stables. Had the best ever turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Lovely staff and pleasant music in the background. Can definitely recommend.

The meal was very good more than I could eat better than not getting enough the staff were excellent very obliging we all enjoyed our meals all eight of us

Thank you reserving a table for our little dog walking group and making our dogs so comfy and welcome. Food was enjoyed by us all especially Jasper, Rosie, Romeo and Poppy who gave the chips and gravy 10/10.

Lunch at the White Horse today was awesome. Great home cooked food at very reasonable prices. Good beers on tap too. Highly recommended. PS. I think the previous reviewer must have visited a different pub to me. Looking forward to our next visit

Lovely waitress couldn’t do enough for us and the meal was really lovely

Lovely dog friendly pub with nice beer garden. The food was ordinary pub grub but well cooked, hot and fresh. Just what we wanted. The dogs were welcomed inside and there are bowls of water all around for them. Been back again today for Sunday lunch and again it was very nice.

Lovely Sunday dinner and a nice cold glass of cider in a lovely setting.

It’s a sun trap with excellent views over fields. Prices are reasonable, food was lovely, my little boy had a small roast off the kids menu and I wish I’d order myself one. Dog friendly which is a bonus. Would recommend.

Excellent food friendly staff reasonable price, 1 small criticism and that it is rather uncomfortable sat eating on those low tables and small stools in the bar area.

Excellent food and drink, never go away hungry whenever we have eaten there. Staff are always friendly, especially Shelly behind the bar, she is always helpful and friendly and a real asset to the pub. Highly recommended.

Called in for Lunch today I had gammon, egg, chips, grilled tomato, mushrooms, onion rings & garden peas all home cooked off the lite bites menu which was beautiful. My wife had the Fish & Chips off the lite bites which she says was lovely and my daughter had the cheese burger. Great value, lovely food, nice cosy pub with a good selection of lagers and ales. Will definitely be visiting again.

Called in Sunday just to check it out for our wedding venue without anyone knowing, very pleasantly surprised, staff were polite and the place was very busy, we sat out in the beer garden and overheard several comments about the food being really nice although we didn’t eat, will be calling back with the intent on booking for our wedding

In all the times we have gone for a meal , and trying different things on the menu I have have never been disappointed in the service or the excellence of the food . Would recommend this hidden gem to any one wanting great hot . Fresh and well portioned meals

Came today with the family. Roast dinner was beautiful,but the steak was really bad,not a nice cut,was extremely fatty. My brother was still starving after. Then there was a mix up with desserts. Usually really nice here,but it has put us off. �

The pub is a nice place but the food is terrible. I've been with a party of people 3 times now and food hasn't got any better. You get powered mashed potatoes, rubbery vegetables. The soup tastes of nothing, you can't tell what it is. Nothing has any flavour. Dessert was a trifle with watery jelly tinned fruit cocktail and tinned custard. In all the food is not very good. The only vegetarian option i was given was broccoli cheese bake which was disgusting there was so much cheese on it and not much else that I just couldn't eat it. Don't think that I will be going again. After 3 chances I just can't stomach another meal from there.
