Evo IR LED Pills.....
We now offer three infrared led pill options for the Evo Torches. Having multiple options to choose from is great, but with options confusion can often follow.
Here's a quick video clip showing the difference in brightness between the three pills, and a brief explanation of each IR LED Pill that we offer.
... AS IR: The cheapest option and the best one you'll find in other 'off the shelf' torches on the net. It is available in single and triple mode and can be used with one or two batteries.
Turbo™ AS IR: This pill is hand built by ourselves, it is brighter than the standard AS IR, giving you more distance and a clearer image. It uses approx a third more battery than the standard AS IR pill, and can be used flawlessly with all the Evo heads and Torches. The Turbo™ pill is triple mode and can only be used with a single battery.
AS-X™: The AS-X™ pill is also hand built by ourselves, it is significantly brighter than the other LED pills we do. This pill was designed for maximum throwing power, and enables you to drop head sizes without losing performance. Having a smaller beam profile, this pill is more suited to the smaller 38mm and 50mm heads, but it is also useable in the larger heads from half flood to spot. The AS-X™ is available in single and triple mode and can be used with one or two batteries. It also uses no more battery power than a standard AS IR pill.
