Tour De Yorkshire Description
A major international cycle race for Yorkshire has been confirmed by the sport’s world governing body, the UCI.
The Tour de Yorkshire - run by Welcome to Yorkshire and the Amaury Sport Organisation (which operates the Tour de France) and backed by British Cycling is a 3 day race that had 2. 2 million fans roadside during the 2017 edition.

Today's Le Tour de France stage finishes in Bagnères-de-Luchon which just so happens to be twinned with Harrogate! So we thought we'd share our favourite Harrogate #TDF memory - when Marcel Kittel stormed to victory in 2014.
Its been a successful Le Tour de France for some of our champions, past and present.
Our reigning champion Greg Van Avermaet wore the prestigious yellow jersey for 7 days plus there has been 2 stage wins for 2-time Tour de Yorkshire stage winner Dylan Groenewegen and a stage win each for 2017 TDY runner up Omar Fraile Matarranz and Cow and Calf champion, Magnus ConCort Nielsen.
