With only 9 days until our first open day it has been an exciting few weeks at the marquee! It is looking so wonderful inside with the recent refurbishments. The gardeners are doing a fantastic job with the flower beds for the walk up to the marquee. We cannot wait to meet with all of our couples for this and next year along with those couples who are calling in to take a look around - look forward to seeing you all then 😃

Roofs - Winter PVC replaced with season PVC Floor - refurbishing floor - stripping Olympic Games lines off and re varnishing - not a pleasant experience!! xx

This weekend we are starting the 2019 refurbishment of the marquee WHEY!! Starting with the kitchen, moving on to the roofs (removing the Winter PVC for Spring/Summer) onto the conveniences, stripping and re-staining the floor then onto the bar area. We are now on Instagram (ok I admit we were luddites) please keep in touch either via #walledgardenmarquee or facebook for updates on progress - cannot wait for the opening in May 😃 xx

Happy New Year to all of our couples for 2019 and previous couples (miss you all). This was our New Years Eve with our family in Cornwall. Really looking forward to 2019 and the improvements we are now starting at the marquee. Cannot wait until May and our first open day of the year!!! xxxx

Please come and join the Walled Garden Marquee on our Wedding open day. The marquee will be dressed for a Autumn Wedding and staff at Temple Newsam house will be on hand to discuss wedding ceremonies at the house. There will be catering information along with a nice glass of bubbly or soft drink - no appointment necessary we open at 11am and close at 3pm - see you there!!!

Beautiful colours chosen by Alex & Jat service provided by Sashes n Covers Venue Styling, the flowers were absolutely stunning!! We kept them fresh in the water station, the bouquet on the right of the water station was Alex's the flowers in the center formed the table centre pieces - wow!! xxx
