As you'll have noticed if you've been in the store on a Thursday or Saturday recently, there's been lots of interest in the new Kill Team game.

As most of you possibly know, we're kicking off a campaign for the new Age of Sigmar this coming Thursday, set in the realm of fire. Here's a sneak peek at the main prizes.
We'll be giving out an art card for each game you play in and a badge for playing in at least 6 games. Winners will also recieve some more goodies too!

As the forces of Nagash swarm across the realms, old frontiers become new battlefields and conflicts ignite anew.
This summer, we'll be fighting over the territories in the Realm of Fire to determine new territories and areas of influence.
Games can be any size but we'd recommend approximately 1000-1500 point games. Games can be played on Thursdays and Saturdays, during opening hours. Every victory will earn your army and faction influence. The player and faction with the most influence at the end of the campaign (15/9/18) will win.

Join us and start painting some of the newest denizens of the Mortal Realms.
Call into the store and pick up a copy of the new Getting Started magazine for the Age of Sigmar and the Knight Incantor featured on the front. Paint yours up by 01/09/2018 and enter it into our Sigmar launch day competition.
Voting will last for 1 week and we'll announve the winner on our facebook page on 08/09/2018.

The wartorn world of Saolia 643 has seen conflict for the past 100 years, since the 13th Black Crusade swept the Galaxy. The warzone is now so damaged and polluted that conventional armies struggle to find space to march and fight. Fighting is now restricted to small teams vying for supremacy in isolated small Killzones.
For this campaign you take command of a small force of warriors called a Killteam, your mission is to capture as many resources as you can on the wartorn pl...anet of Saolia 643. The winning player will be whoever posseses the greatest amount of the Territory resource at the end of the campaign (25/8/18).
To participate, you will need a copy of the Killteam rulebook and will be issued with a campaign card once you pick that up. You will also need to form a kill team using Citadel Miniatures; staff will be happy to help or advise you on how to do this.

Our very own Kill Team campaign kicks off this Saturday. Here's some cool info about campaigns and Kill Teams.

Popped in today just in passing out of curiosity. Not looked at this stuff in years but Jim was very welcoming and got me talking for a lot longer than I intended and has sparked my interest again. Great place and can't wait to get some free time to get started again. Already dragged out my old copies of white dwarf lol.

Jim, I really enjoyed visiting your shop and enjoyed even more the way you welcomed me and my brother! It was definitely one of the highlights of my vacation. Thanks for taking us through that quick game of Warhammer 40k. Your storyline and commentaries of the events taking place in that one squad battle added tonnes of value! And I don't know.. playing proper tabletop with the models I buy and paint seems more and more appealing...



Thanks for helping me and my brother buy our models and books as well! You'll be glad to know that after I received my Liberator from you, I went back home and bought all the necessary (and some unnecessary) paints needed to paint the Liberator and painted him up good!

Jim is the single best GW employee I have ever met. Such joy and enthusiasm for the hobby and the people who take part in it. The store is a great spot with friendly folk but it would be nothing without Jim.

I've visited a few times now, just to check it out and now I have an army, jim is taking me through the rigmarole of learning the game, he's a good teacher and I'm thoroughly enjoying Warhammer!

I went to the shop for the first time.wanting to learn about age of sigmar.

Jim was extremely helpful and explained the rules and everything regarding the game very clearly with tons of enthusiasm.

As a newbie to the game I enjoyed it thoroughly and look forward to a second game.

A must for all the people interested in the hobby.

I left the Warhammer world for a while and this shop convinced me to rejoin. I was welcomed like family really can't fault the place at all.

Great little shop. Everything you could need and the expert advice of Jim. He is likely the best person for help or just a discussion. All in all great shop I recommend you visit.

First time in the store on Saturday as its not my local store. Store manager (Jim?) Was very welcoming. A credit to the company !

Finally a games workshop (sorry still not used to calling it by its new name) nearer home and as for the manager i dont think theres enough room on this post to say what a great guy he is theres nothing he wont do to help you

Easily accessible, the step is the thickness of two cutting mats. Jim was welcoming, enthusiastic and knew his onions. Very passionate for all things warhammer and managed to juggle answering questions I had, giving the guy painting in the corner tips, while manning the till and greeting customers, with no one feeling left out I bet that isn't easy. I also got a few painting tips, one of which I have forgotten, but am not in need of right now so not to worry, so yeah thanks a lot Jim.

Awesome place to learn about warhammer related hobbies from all aspects from building and painting your miniatures to the gaming aspect. As well as this they have different events throughout the months which are really good and to top it off the manager is a really nice guy :)

what to say about this shop? the Warhammer shop is a really nice place to go when you need supplies and the owner is always vary nice with the customer. there is a nice atmosphere you could enjoy. I would highly recommend it.
