Good morning all. It's a return to Middle Earth today with the brand new edition of the Lord of the Rings strategy battle game, and the awesome Pelenor Fields boxed set (available to check out in store now). We also have even more Kill Team goodies for you available to order.
As well as this, the Warriors of Fenris are in store with the Tooth and Claw box set, and the brand new Space Wolves Codex.

Birthday Events this September and your all invited.
Saturday 15th September 2018

Good morning all. You may remember last week that I mentioned I was doing a Stormcast army for a doubles tournament at the end of October. Well, we've had some progress since then and I am currently at the magnetising the wings for ease of transport stage.
It has also come to my attention I need to do a none hero monster in case we play in the Realm of Beasts. Which neatly ties into our anniversary painting competition.
So, which none hero monster do you think I should do to go with my Stormcast?

Good morning all. As you may have noticed, our store anniversary is just under 4 weeks away. On the day we will have some exclusive products available (more on that later in the week) and plenty of events going on.
So announcing first is our birthday painting competition. Paint any vehicle or monster for the day. That's it! It can be anything from a Khorgorath to a Warlord Titan. From a Rhino to a Lord of Change, it is completely up to you.

In first place!
This paint job is some of the best work we have seen a while. The colour theory, battle damage and even freehand blew us away. We love the extra use of colour on the armour with the use of glazes and reflections you get a real sense of depth and definition.
Which had been your favourite model in this competition?

The speed and quality in which the paint job on this model was produced in is out standing and to be honest it was a close call between this model and the one in first.

We love the small attention to detail on not only the Knight Incantor by also the Goblin 🙂 What also drew our eye was the clever use of battle damage in the form of chips and scuffs

Went in to the store day to get a few tips on starting my collection, every one was super friendly and welcoming, will definatley be coming back

Welcoming and friendly with amazing staff who are always happy to help you out.

Visited warhammer last Sunday with my son, for the age of sigma workshop. Neither of us had any experience of the game when we arrived, but by the time we left we'd had a go at painting one of the models and had a go at playing the game. All the staff were amazing, they were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Will definitely be going again. �

Visited the store for the first time today with my two boys (7 and 8 yrs). The staff were fantastic (particularly Connor) very enthusiastic, patient and knowledgeable. Connor showed the boys how to paint a figure and how to take part in a short battle. My youngest son was delighted to learn that he shared a name with one of the characters. They loved it and have started a very long Christmas list of Warhammer merchandise! We will definitely be back!

The guys who work here, along with the regular customer base, are amazing - very friendly, very helpful and completely welcoming. Great place for beginners to come along and learn the "craft" or experienced players to find a game. I make it a point to visit regularly as the help of the staff here is invaluable.

The folks in the shop have been super helpful and friendly :-)

I took the whole family in (boy 12, girls 10 & 9) and they were great showing us _all_ how to play 8th Ed for an hour, then showing _all_ the kids how to paint.

I've been back in a few lunchtimes for model & painting tips and all the staff were super helpful :-)

My 6yo loves going to the store. The staff are always welcoming and very helpful and always on hand to poi t you in the right direction whether it be painting or playing. They are all very knowledgeable too cheers guys keep up the good work

I just popped in to restart after a few years away from the hobby and was instantly greeted by one of the friendliest and helpful people I've ever come across, everything was explained amazingly and I was made to feel instantly welcome to the community of players with the massive amount of help and support there as well as the special events. Cannot recommend this shop enough and I look forwards to spending a lot of my time and hard earned money here. 10/10 for customer experience.

I have been coming to this shop for a couple of years now. Great guys, very friendly, always happy to help. Also they keep you informed on latest goings on in the shop. Very helpful to my 13 year old son who has been doing this hobby for three years now. Great advice for painting and gaming etc.

Honest be of my new favourite places to visit. I'm hooked and a fully fledged 40k player now. Thanks to the amazing help I received from Connor and Ash who gave me amazing customer service, it was so good they seemed like friends instead of strangers in a short few hours. You have earned yourself a very loyal new customer.

Brilliant staff! Helped me out from been a noobie to a collector! Sadly moved away but when I go back to Leeds still like to bob in even if it’s just to hello to staff!

Always been made to feel welcome as a hobbyist and appreciated as a customer. Was a long time player who was getting back into the hobby after a 5 year hiatus and its the level of customer service provided that reminded me why I loved the hobby for as long as I did. Whether it's tips on modeling and painting, list building, or in game tactics the staff personalise the experience to your own ability and knowledge levels to ensure every visit is worthwhile.

A firendly well presented store. Staff are very knowledgeable and passionate about their products. I Would recommend to anyone creative, looking for a hobby or just something a bit different.
