It’s happening at Waterside Gym! It’s the 1st of the month so I think this is okay to share.
My sister and her boyfriend are launching a dance company with classes for all ages based in and around Hebden Bridge. Go check out the page, Transcend Dance, and let them know what classes you or people you know would be interested in.

Unfortunately there will be no tabata or zumba classes tonight as Amanda is not very well. Apologies for any inconvenience and have a good evening.

We have made some changes to the small classes in the spin off studio. From next week the classes at 5 and 6 pm on Mondays will no longer be included in the membership with classes but fear not, we have changed the 7pm HIIT class so that it will be included in the membership with classes. On Wednesdays the new HIIT class at 9.15, the HIIT class at 10 and the Boxercise class at 11 are not going to be included in the membership with classes but we have now changed the 12 noon H...IIT class so that it will be included in the membership with classes. We have made those changes because we need to ensure that the spin off studio pays for itself otherwise we will lose it entirely and this would be a shame. So big apologies to those of you who have enjoyed some of the classes as part of your membership as these changes are affecting you primarily. It is hard to strike a balance between nice and viable! Thanks you all for supporting us!

I know I'm a bit biased BUT the gym feels really lovely, inclusive and friendly. A lot of chatting and laughing and people being themselves. A nice way to spend leisure time.

I came here when I visited the area in Jan ‘17 and loved it. So when I moved down here in Jan ‘18 I couldn’t wait to get signed up to this gym. Very friendly and welcoming staff, always say hi and ask how I’m doing on entry, I feel they would be very approachable if needed and I love the old school vibe about the place too! I would ignore any negative comments about the place, I’m glad I did!

My partner was discriminated by the owner of the gym because she wore jeggings (a legging made to look like denim , its a soft and stretchable fabric) to workout . And when she tried to explain to her , she was given smirks and snide comments. That's the treatment one gets for being on a Yearly membership There is NO DRESS CODE policy mentioned on the forms she filled nor is it anywhere on their website. We demand a written apology.
