Waterton Park Golf Club Description
The parkland course is sited on the world’s first nature reserve. Charles Waterton a pioneering Victorian naturalist created the nature reserve in 1820 and he dedicated his life to preserving the local wildlife in this area, and today we still share the park with all manner of wildlife. The golf course was designed by Simon Gidman and opened in 1995. The design cleverly exploits the 200 acres available, creating a spaciousness not found in many courses set in smaller areas. The par 72 course has been built to extremely high standards with USGA specification greens and tree-lined fairways. The club prides itself on the condition of the course especially its fairways and greens, the greens are in play all year round.

Well kept greens apart from the goose poo and the odd dog walker who think they own the place , all in all very nice place to visit
The most amazing and beautiful day I had the pleasure of spending my wedding day! The staff were amazing and so friendly and the food was the best it could have ever been! I want to do it all over again! Thank you to everyone at the golf club!!!

Stayed at the hotel next door and had a superb round of golf on Sunday. Great course with some spectacular and challenging holes, and in fantastic condition. Nice friendly welcome from Leon in the Pro shop, which sets it all up to be a day out. Hopefully we'll return soon.
Omg ! One word ! Fantastic, best wedding venue I've been to wonderful food , staff very good xx all in all it's a wonderful place and would highly recommend

First time at Waterton Park I really enjoyed the golf course and the setting. Very peaceful with great views of Walton Hall and the lake. A hilly course in places would recommend a buggy. Condition of course was fantastic with greens fast and true. Will be returning for next years Am Am
Fantastic course. Beautiful scenery and very well kept. Yes my nett 61 today has something to do with this 5* review. We will be back for the next open :)
Cracking golf course, well kept in fantastic surroundings. A definite challenge for decent golfers, and a serious walk too...
Course is in excellent condition and set up to be a great challenge. Full credit to all the green staff.
On arrival to the course you are welcome by the club pro who is very welcoming and polite and always happy to have a laugh and chat. Not been a member very long but very happy I joined.
Chris and the team looked after us from the start, let us be as creative as we wanted with all aspects of our wedding reception!!!
