‼️COVID-19 UPDATE‼️
Hello!
A lot of you will be happy to hear, we are officially open again!
... We’ve had a very busy few days sorting out all of the appointments we had to cancel due to lockdown, and I mean VERY BUSY🤯
✅If you’re not already booked in, and want an appointment, please get in touch. Please be aware that we’ve had a huge back log of customers, so there is a long wait for appointments. ✅ We have rules & regulations we have to follow that are set in place. We have posters on the gate informing you what to do when you arrive to your appointment. ✅We have the correct PPE we have to wear, so please don’t laugh at us😂 ✅We have been very fortunate, and WOLF LAUNDRY have been kind enough to lend us an OZONE machine. It is an air deodorising and sanitising system. It disinfects the whole shop over night, and kills any bacteria lying around. If you didn’t already know, Ozone is a natural disinfectant. This is just another added precaution on top of our own disinfecting methods.
We are very happy to be back, and we are looking forward to seeing your pooches🐩🐾

Hello everyone, we hope you’re keeping well.
Just wanted to clear a few things up with regards to dog groomers needing to be closed at this time. We still getting calls and messages from people who are ringing around trying to find a dog groomer during the pandemic. There are also a few groomers who are still working and putting the lives of their customers at risk.
The government guidelines state that you are not allowed to leave your house for any reason other than exercis...ing once a day, medical reasons, to care for someone vulnerable, for shopping supplies or to go to work when it is absolutely necessary. By taking your dog to a dog groomer you are breaking these rules put in place to prevent the spread of the virus.
Groomers who are mobile are still not able to provide a service in which no contact is made with customers. The virus can be transmitted on the dogs hair just as it can be transmitted on any surfaces.
The Pet Industry Federation and The British Isle Grooming Association have stated that ALL groomers need to close down until further notice.
There are other risks associated with working during this pandemic. Veterinary surgery’s are not taking on patients unless it is an emergency or life threatening. Accidents happen when dog grooming, we’re dealing with sharp objects on a constantly moving and unpredictable animal. Accidents are also far more likely to occur when you are grooming a dog for the first time and not a regular customer. Those groomers taking on all of these dogs looking for a dog groomer still open, are putting your dogs at even more risk. If your dog is injured during the grooming process you may not be able to get your dog treated and you may find that the dog groomers insurance will not cover them during this time!
Dog groomers are also putting theirselves at risk of injury. We have already seen groomers being bitten by dogs and not being able to get antibiotics to prevent infection. This could result in them ending up with sepsis and taking up yet another bed in our outstretched NHS!
Dog grooming is not an essential service and anyone still operating should be reported! Please, please to all of my customers and anyone else reading this looking for a dog groomer during this time, DON’T. No dog has ever died of having a few extra inches of hair. You can still keep them comfortable by maintaining your dogs coat correctly. All you need is a brush and a comb and to go through their coat every day, there is no excuse to not be doing this!
We are not in the heat of summer, they are not going to over heat. By continuing to ignore the advice by the government and by the other pet industry guidelines, you are putting yourselves, others, your dog and your dog groomer at risk.
We would love to be at work right now and not have to worry about how to make a living but there are far more important things to be concerned with right now.

Picture as requested- yes dad got lots of treats and he picked out his own bandana🤪🤩🤣

Dad needed his hair cutting, so the clippers came out of hibernation🤷🏻‍♀️ my client was really good- he didn’t bite so didn’t need to be muzzled, no accidents and he stood still...what a dream😂🤦🏻‍♀️
