We are holding an online customer focus group on Facebook from 6pm to 7:30pm on Thursday, May 9, 2019.
It has been organised online and in an evening because the feedback we received from the involvement survey said that people did not always want to travel to Leeds. And it was also not possible for people working full-time or with caring responsibilities to attend meetings during the day.
This way, people can have their say from the comfort of their own homes and in a collab...orative environment.
The online focus group follows a survey about customer involvement at Yorkshire Housing. This survey asked what people thought of the existing involvement opportunities at Yorkshire Housing and how else they might like to be involved.
The Facebook discussion will involve questions relating to customer involvement at Yorkshire Housing. The feedback will be used to create a strategy that sets out clearly what involvement and engagement looks like at Yorkshire Housing.

Yorkshire Housing staff and customers celebrated the success of a new recycling scheme in Huddersfield last Friday (April 26). Smart new bins were installed at Smithy Lane in Moldgreen two months ago, which led to recycling levels soaring. A celebration was organised featuring an Easter egg hunt, games and creature making using recycled material. Read about the festivities in the story below.

The joint winners from our Easter charity bake off were Caroline Hirst and Rob Akeroyd, who created nut and marzipan and lemon drizzle cakes respectively.

We held an Easter charity bake off today in aid of the St George's Crypt in Leeds. Our chief executive Nick Atkin was one of the judges - who ended up crowning joint winners. Pictured is just one of the many tasty entries created by our staff.
