In August we photographed three weddings and we're pretty happy to say our turnaround for all three of these weddings has been just two weeks!
Tonight, we will be sending the highlights video to our beautiful bride and groom, Jodie-louise and Stewart, from their gorgeous wedding at Weddings at Mirfield Monastery. ♥

One of the things we love the most about photographing weddings is being a part of all the intimate moments that most people don't get to see.

June seems like ages ago already!
Here's a flashback to the beautiful wedding of Kimberley and Matt who married Standedge Tunnel and Visitor Centre.

Worked extensively with these guys for various projects including documenting live music shows, promotional photographs and even on a full length music video. And I can honestly say you could not find a more dedicated, enthusiastic, talented and sprightly pair of people. An absolute pleasure, could not be happier with their work and I cannot wait to work with you both again. I love you YOLOFOTO!

What a lovely couple James & Sarah are, very professional and make you feel at ease in front of the camera, would recommend You Only Live Once to anyone for that special occasion or memory capturing moment.

Louise and I wanted a picture of our new born princess Florence with our other two children Finlay & Sofia, you would have never had guessed it was their first experience with a new born, brilliant work!!!



Will be using them for other family gatherings in the future for sure.

This is the second time that we have asked James and Sarah to do some photos for us. The first last June when they captured our daughter at 3 days old, we loved their work and the natural and beautiful shots they took. This Christmas my sister and family were over from Canada the first Christmas we had all been together for 15 years and they captured how special it was for us all with some more beautiful photos that made me very emotional just looking at them. We cannot wait too have them at our wedding next year capturing our special day. I cannot recommend these two enough, they are fantastic at what they do and most of all are just a genuinely lovely couple wanting to give you fantastic memories through photography. Thank you.

Sarah and James did the photography for our wedding in October, after doing an amazing job at my sister's wedding last year. They are both such lovely people and extremely professional. I don't know what we would have done without them on the day, not only taking lovely photographs but getting everyone organised and even arranging flowers at the last minute! Myself and my wife Louise had the absolute honour of James and Sarah from You Only Live Once photographers, doing our wedding photography last May..... They took real time to understand what we wanted to capture during our day and they went out of their way to prepare themselves by looking at the venue and church beforehand. They took all our ideas on board and added some amazing ones of their own that we would've never thought of. During the day they turned up on time and Sarah went with my wife Louise and James came with the boys whilst we all got ready, it was amazing to look at these pictures afterwards so we could both see what we were up to on the morning of the wedding. We all then met at the church where James and Sarah blended in nicely and got some amazing shots. Once at the venue they were very social and got on with all the guests and made everyone feel at ease thus capturing some fantastic moments. The photos that we got back where are amazing and absolutely invaluable. We can't thank James and Sarah enough, all our friends and family love the pictures and many of them are hanging on our wall at home Louise and I would have no hesitation to recommend You Only Live Once photographers for any of your photographic needs and having just had a little baby we can't wait to ask them to do a family photo shoot for us. The photos from our wedding day are fantastic, the style is exactly what we wanted. The formal photos are still relaxed and the whole set capture the atmosphere of the day perfectly. James got our photos back to us incredibly quickly and also took our guidance on the photo slide show creating a lovely highlights momento. The whole process felt like nothing was too much troubles and very personal.

Lending your trainers to the Bride and walking through cold puddles in socks to get the right shot is the level of service you can expect.

The photos are simply amazing and the process of getting them was just fun from start to finish. Gutted that it’s over and we need another excuse for a shoot…

I can't speak highly enough about these fantastically talented photographers. They did an amazing job of photographing our daughter Emma and Dan's wedding in September 2016, and done it yet again for Shelley and Daniel.

Professional, talented, unobtrusive, skilled, innovative......need I go on? Highly, highly recommended.

Having worked with these guys on a range of different projects with my band, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a versatile and talented photographer. They turned their hand to photographing studio sessions, album artwork and live performances with a level of skill and professionalism that you would expect from people who had been doing this for a lot longer.



We were particularly pleased with the live shots. It was really refreshing to have two photographers working from different angles, and who had discussed with us and knew what we wanted from the shoot.
