SUCH a good read ๐. I'm absolutely fascinated by what using technology constantly is doing to our brains ๐ง ..the dopamine hit, the millions companies spend to keep us scrolling, how disconnected it's making us..etc. I'm gonna spend more time like this ๐คฃ๐๐ฉโ๐พ๐๐ and less time like this ๐คฏ๐ฉโ๐ป๐คณ๐คณ. Basically, I'm going to be crying with laughter, wearing sunglasses, dressed as a farmer while dancing in the bath if you didn't understand my emojis!! All yoga classes are still on until the end of term and then there's a short break until the start of next term! I'm teaching at the yoga society retreat day a week on Sunday and at York Yoga Studio a week on Saturday. ๐คฉ

Just to say there are no classes at Naburn Village Hall for two weeks, I'll be back teaching 16th July as I am heading to Vancouver for a little holiday (eeek). My classes at York Yoga Studio are still running, someone fabulous will be covering ๐ค. See you all soon xxx
I feel so lucky to teach at the beautiful York Yoga Studio.
The studio is closed this week but reopens next week and I'll be back teaching Thursday 31st May, 7.30pm - 8.45pm ๐.

This lady is extremely gifted at teaching yoga. Mandie teaches from her whole being, tuning in to support you from soul, spirit, body, heart and mind. I am a beginner and I felt rejuvenated from our first yoga meet. A glow shined within me and a spark of healthiness bounced off me - thanks to Mandie. She has a unique practice and supports you in your individual progress with yoga. I am so excited for our next meeting. These Yoga classes are so enjoyable, an excellent friendly teacher, who always has a smile on her face. So relaxing the best class I have attended. Thoroughly recommend for well being and relaxation.
The best yoga instructor I've had yet! Mandie is always very conscious of the varying abilities in the class, has taught me loads of different poses I haven't tried before - and I've significantly improved the ones I did know before!

On par with the Hatha master I learnt from in Thailand, Mandie brings a unique blend of different techniques, mixing traditional Ashtanga sequences and Hatha poses, with more dynamic Vinyasa and a more modern, restorative end to the session. The pace is perfect and adequate for people of varying levels of experience. Mandie is a lovely, enthusiastic teacher with a wealth of knowledge, couldn't recommend her enough.
Mandie's classes are a highlight of my week, she is so calming and funny, and has really improved my confidence with yoga. Thank you Mandie!
Mandie is one of the most incredible people I've met and is such a fantastic yoga teacher. Her voice is incredibly calming and she is encouraging throughout the practice. Often yoga classes can feel quite intimidating but Mandie's are very relaxed and there is no pressure if you can't do a pose to the same level as others in the class. Her teaching largely focuses on grounding, and alleviating anxiety and negative emotions. She is a fantastic teacher and I love the style of yoga she brings!
Mandie is lovely, calm and very good at her practice. She is the best instructor i have had as there is no pressure to be perfect and after every practice i feel calm and relaxed which, for me, is what yoga is all about.

Mandie is a fantastic yoga teacher and such a lovely person, her classes have a really good vibe and I love going to them. She makes everyone feel relaxed and happy in class and encourages everyone to get the best out of them.
Mandie has a wonderful teaching manner - gentle and encouraging! Her sessions are the right balance of demanding and relaxing, and allow a mixed group to find their individual level.
Mandie gave up her time to come to teach all 3 of our Cub groups about mindfulness and show them some yoga moves. She used great techniques to engage the children and they really listened and tried really hard. She really knows her stuff. Great job Mandie xx

I have recently started going to Mandy's classes and find it is a brilliant mixture of yoga and relaxation. I am a beginner and find Mandy is really encouraging and has given me very useful information about how yoga can help my carpal tunnel syndrome. I thoroughly recommend her classes which for me are just the right mixture of exercise, relaxation and fun.
Having never done yoga before, Mandie has helped me a lot and made things easy, there is no judgement in her classes. It is my favorite night of the week and I look forward to the classes. Thank you x
