Arboricultural Contractors is a small family run but friendly company that is capable of pruning the smallest fruit tree right up to large site clearances.

Arboricultural Contractors is a small friendly company based in the Bradford area. The owner, Richard Palframan has been involved in the industry from a very young age. He attended Askham Bryan College when he was just 16 years of age to complete a three year course in Arboriculture and Forestry which he completed in two years. After this course he then went on to do a further year at the college studying countryside management. While studying at college Richard worked night shifts on the railways for Keighly Tree Services. After leaving college he got a job straight away with Bradford Council as a climber. After several years at the council building up experiance Richard set up his own company in 2008.

As well as being awarded The Heritage Star Award, Arboricultural Contractors manages several woodlands including The Heaton Woods Trust, which due to our advise and work has won many awards including the Royal Forestry Society's best kept woodland in northern England, Bradmet Community Harmony Award and the winner of the Best Community Environment Project.

Arboricultural Contractors provide complete and professional tree services, with over 10 years experience in the industry. We offer a full range of products ranging from fire wood to tree removal. All products created from our professional tree services are recycled, all branches are chipped and either used as mulch on flower beds, a surface for paths in woodlands, horse arena's or children’s play areas. The logs and tree trunks are either split for firewood or if they are suitable they are planked using our portable sawmill.

We make sure that each customer will deal with the same person through out their time with us, and will continue to advise them for as long as they wish. Arboricultural Contractors has won several awards in the past including The Heritage Star Award.

All of our work is carried out in accordance with BS3998 good arboricultural practice. All our staff hold the relevant certificates and licenses for climbing and chainsaw use, not to mention have been trained in the latest techniques in First Aid along with having £5, 000, 000 public liability insurance.
