Ashfield Holiday Cottages & Touring Caravan Park

Great little site for York. Very clean and modern toilet and showers. Aussie BBQ facilities. Kids play area. This is a small footprint site. Probably not the best for dogs. Nice friendly people.

Arrived on the Saturday for one week stay,wardens were very helpful made you feel very welcome,lovely site ,the toilets were lovely and clean /modern and warm ,the showers were up to the minute very modern ,games room was a nice feature with table tennis,books games ct,easy reach to bus stop for York, all in all a brilliant site ,will go again ,

Great campsite for tents and tourers small shop but quite adequate and perfect for touring east yorshire and surrounding areas

This is a lovely little campsite tucked away on a leafy lane, run by some very lovely people, there is a small village shop that is well stocked and not too pricey, there's plenty of things to close by and York is easily accessible via the park and ride bus service into town, highly recommend ashfield as it's lovely and quiet clean and tidy, will be back for sure

This site was both nice and friendly,as well as clean.Would certainly recommend if visiting York.

Nice friendly proprietor nothing to much trouble bus stop at road end not to far out of York

Lovely staff, only laughed at us slightly when we pitched up in the middle of a thunder storm ;) would definitely recommend for camping near to York

Stayed for a week in August 2015 in a Motorhome.Very good site ,excellent facilities,Restaurant 5 mins walk away,Shop selling essentials on site, very pleasant surroundings,the site is kept very clean, very friendly and helpful owners and staff We will definitely go back Thank you.

had an absolutely fantastic week at the site! owners were so friendly, site was clean, quiet, pleasant and you wouldnt know that you were only 10 mins from york city centre! good facilities and the shower block was spotless. there is everything you need on site if you want a quiet holiday. the windmill pub just up the road serves excellent food and is very reasonable too! i cant wait to book another holiday at ashfield.........:)
