We recently had a cocktail master class here for a mini hen do and we all absolutely loved it. Thank you to Matty and all the staff! We had a great night - highly recommend. X

We booked a booth to for last Saturday night to celebrate a friends birthday. The night honestly couldn't have been any better really. We were planning on going to a few other bars afterwards but with the amazing cocktails and high standards of service we had no reason to leave. There was a great atmosphere all night and the staff were great. Thanks to Matt for looking after us!

We all had a fantastic time here on Saturday doing a cocktail masterclass for my hen do. Matt was very good and very informative and we enjoyed some lovely cocktails. Making them was such fun. This bar is fab very classy and some lovely cocktails on the menu.

I took decorations for the table the night before and nothing was too much trouble.

No where else like it in Hull, fab people and fab service, especially the bar man with hair like Cheryl Cole

Had a great night last Friday night making cocktails for a Hen do. Matty was great as our bar tender, and the room upstairs was great for a private do. Loved the extensive menu of cocktails on offer. I have already been recommending the cocktail making class to my friends!

Absolutely amazing, great staff, brunch was good, tasty and light, just what you need on a sunny day with a glass of champagne. I didn't have the muffins, but the eggs royale is a hit I hope you don't lose the brunch menu for awhile.

Absolute gem this place if you have not been... then go!! The best bar in hull in my opinion! The staff are lovely, chatty and friendly. The beer garden is beautiful comfortable and there’s even covers for when it gets a bit nippy! The drinks are on a different level to most bars in hull. It’s a very hip and happening vibe, like bars found in bigger cities across the UK! Hopefully the rest of the city will follow suit!

Felt comfortable sipping a cocktail on my own (waiting for the girls) bar staff polite n friendly - nice atmosphere - music bit too loud for my liking tho.

First time visiting the beautiful city of Hull. The bar is alright but we've visited nicer ones. This is slightly overpriced for what is on offer. Although bar staff were great.

Went in on Saturday night and thought I’d walked into a rave club it was all dark and dingy with dark grey walls. It now has plastic booths to sit in instead of the beautiful chairs and tables which had character. Just an ordinary bar now doesn’t stand out from the rest anymore. May as well go to hooters as it’s cheaper!

Used to be a real good bar , the prices now are a joke ! This is hull not Chelsea, my last time here !

Terrible service and very rude staff- mostly the long haired male bartender. Was overcharged on the bill and then after stating this saw two staff talking about our table and looking over making it very obvious. Will not be returning.

I cannot believe the service tonight. One of the waiters asked us for ID after we had already been ID’d by the bouncers. For the long-haired waiter to be abrupt and rude by asking for our ID then swearing at me and my friends. I had high expectations for this place and will not be returning again.

How times have changed. Just walked into Bar 82 to get my favourite cocktail. 3 years ago this cost £4.50 tonight I was greeted with a bill of £8.00 for the same drink. When questioned the bar staff explained this was due to refurbishment. If by refurbishment you mean a lick of paint on the wall and seating which get you closer than close at a probable cost of £2k I'm struggling to see were the increased costs have come from.



Always think people should remember where they're from.
