We went on Monday,3 grannies and 4 grandchildren.

We thought £4.50 was very reasonable for an entrance fee ( no charge for adults which was amazing). £7.50 includes lunch.

The weather was fabulous so they spent all the time out doors, going from sandpit to bouncy castle, to zip wire or swings.

There are some lovely picnic tables outdoors and the whole area is kept very clean and tidy. There was a young gentleman going round cleaning up the whole area, which again was good to see

The children only spent 20 mins in the soft play indoors but it seemed to be very good.

Will definitely be going again. Well done Beach Cove

We visited beach cove today with my 5, 9 and 10 year olds. They have had a thoroughly enjoyable day. There is lots to do and I think the play and meal deal is well worth it for £7.50 although the serving staff did seem quite stressed out with the demand.

The young lad who was working in the kitchen was very organised and approachable and to say he was the youngest worker there by far he was fantastic at his job!!

A young child went missing during our visit and about 7 members of staff were out in minutes and he was found very quickly.

All in all a great day out. Would definitely recommend.

User

Thank you for a brilliant party today for my daughters 3rd Birthday!! The food was lovely, the staff were very friendly and attentive and the kids all had a fab time. The outdoor area was perfect for this weather! Definitely recommend Beach Cove especially on a warm sunny day

Since moving to Hull in January 2017 Beach Cove, Freeport and Hornsea has become a place we enjoy adventures with our 3 year old almost weekly. Beach Cove provides amazing indoor and outdoor play. We often come away having needed to have packed an extra set of clothes for our active and adventurous growing up dude who loves the sand and water activities. Not to mention the amazing outdoor trampoline. HIGHLY recommend this to anyone wanting a great day out.

User

My 3 children loved it today

Loads to do for their ages all under 5 ..we will definitely be coming again

Food and drink was abit expensive but overall great place

User

Me and my 2 children had a wonderful day out today. Extremely friendly and happy staff.

Lovely and clean environment, plenty to do and play.

We stayed for around 4 hours , which is a long time as my daughter is autistic and can get distressed at busy places, but she had so much fun she wasn't bothered!

Well worth the money, we also took a picnic to eat outside but still used the cafe for drinks, snacks and icecream and the service was great.

User

Great value for money! I took my 2 children and found the outdoor play area is fantastic, we spent hours there without getting bored! Would highly recommend here on good weather days as the outdoor area was so good but the soft play area is also good for rainy days. It was a lot cheaper than soft play areas near where I live, and offered more with the outside area, and free parents is a bonus too as I think it's ridiculous some places charge for parents when we don't use anything! Overall an excellent place!

First time here followed Hull Party Services as usual to the event. Was really nice play equipment clean tidy staff was friendly entertaining as usual little one loved the face paints and tattoo’s nice food and will be back come to meet Pj mask and JoJo wish it was open longer so could come up after school from Hull also the price was really reasonable

User

Brilliant, kids loved it plenty to do. Food was nice and good value could have been there all day

User

Well this is a pleasant surprise! Boys are loving it; indoor soft play, outdoor beach, water feature, undercover giant pillow, adventure playground, go karts .........and Bring Your Own Picnic. Worth another visit

User

Took two boys aged 7 and 10. We stayed two hours and they loved their time there. Beautiful day so we were outside most of the time. We were lucky as it wasn't too busy. Two young lads working outside spent a good e0 minutes just stood catting about when they were at school nick names and rubbish but we're not really doing their job a little girl wet herself and they did nothing to sanitize the urine on the floor just left to evaporate. Better staff training or older staff who are concerned for children's well being needed. Will come again when we can see it's not too busy.

My daughter-in-law and my three grandsons, ages 7, 3 and 1, enjoyed our day at Beach Cove, Hornsea Freeport. We were there on a warm day so were fortunate enough to be able to use the indoor facilities as well as the very good outdoor facilities. In my opinion, when with young children, both the indoor and outdoor areas are about the right size with sufficient play areas and equipment. All of it appeared safe for little ones (obviously on some equipment very small ones need supervision). We were there around 4-5 hours and the children were fully occupied and enjoying themselves the whole time. We had lunch there and that was just right for that type of day out, choice wise and price wise. There is a cafe area inside the main building and also a snack bar in the outdoor play area, which saves going back indoors once settled outside. We liked the beach huts, although there were not many of them. I would recommend Beach Cove for young children, ie around 8 and under, as a good day out - we were in there that long, we didnt even have time to shop!! Well except ice cream in Thorntons!! My daughter-in-law booked the next birthday party there. Hope this helps

User

Ideal to take our 2 year old grandson ..he loved it!

It was a shame about the horrible fish fingers I got him though ..the fish was dark grey and for what it costs it would be nice to have some nice cod fish fingers ! Also food for me and my hubby was very expensive ..I feel sorry for families with not much money as i think prices could be lower and it would probably get busier

We spent about £25 for two coffees and two sandwiches and for our grandson to eat and play

User

Well am going to start with the good points play area indoor and outdoor was Good really enjoyed the bouncing pillow. Not really any mess wasn't too busy which is great for a weekend good variety for all children ages didn't try the food as eaten before. The men staff were friendly women were too busy having a chat which is fine when not busy but to be honest I was really disappointed with how much staff was just stood around and not noticing that both the gate where open they saw me multiple times get up and shut them! And still didnt check them i have a two and four year old who I was luckily watching and stop them from getting out which shouldn't be a problem in a first place. What if i gone to toilet and they got out and ran into the shopping centre and somebody grabbed them!! Really think theyre should be different gate in place like the electronic ones where only adult can reach a button and open or only staff can let people out. I even wrote it on the sign in sheet make sure the gates are shut theyre in the box where people are paying they can Cleary see the gate just think of the children safety.

Visited today with my 8 year old daughter as staying close by on holiday. She had a great time can't fault the indoor & outdoor play areas lots to do for her. The food & service from staff however left a lot to be desired. Member of staff on the pay in counter was hard work & seemed really unhappy to be there. We bought the play & eat voucher but after just short of an hour had to chase up where the meal was (all we were waiting for was chicken nuggets & chips) The waiting staff seemed really stressed out at the number of people querying where their food was & it almost felt like when we questioned ours it was a hassle for them to go check. We also then had to ask again for my daughters drink which was meant to come with the meal & was met with a sigh from the young guy working there! It's a shame the staff acted in this manner as overall it's a lovely place to take the kids especially on a sunny day like today.

User

Started going when it first opened the outside area last year. Was lovely food then - however it is completely different now really shocking food. The play area indoor is fine if a little underheated this time of the year

User

I took my 3 children aged 10,7 & 16 months.

My older children had a great time playing outside on the various things & had a little play inside too. They did have to wait ages to go on the bouncy pillow as there was only 1 member of staff drying it with blue roll!!

There wasn't a great deal for my youngest to go on tho. She went on a swing & played for a bit in the sand. She also went in the indoor area but wasn't able to climb up on her own & when my older daughter went in to help her she was told to get out (I couldn't climb up as I have a bad back!) so I paid £4.50 for her to go on a swing & play in some sand!!

Not sure if we will return

User

The play area is absolutely freezing and running around didn’t help because the play equipment was really cold such a shame because when I visited in summer I really loved the outdoor area. We mentioned it to the staff but they explained the only heating they had were some small ones on the ceiling which really didn’t do much. I also wasn’t keen on the fact that there was no extra gate or anything near the front door luckily it was quiet when we went so we could always see the children but I think if I went on a busy day I would feel really on edge. Some of the toilets had no toilet roll and we were the first ones in there that day also some of the toilets had seats missing. The food however was nice and the staff were friendly but Because we were so cold we left earlier than we planned after spending quite a lot of money, there was a large group of us and I don’t think we will be in a rush to come back when the weather is cold!

User

The place was freezing. But the main problem though was the fact that none of the staff told the older children to get out of the toddler areas. Not just one child but quite a few meaning my toddler couldn’t play safely. There is also no gate or button to press to exit the building and the exit to the toddler area is opposite the exit door.
