Beverley Racecourse Description
Beverley Racecourse is a welcoming horse racing venue set on the Westwood, just outside the historic town of Beverley. We've got everything you need for a fun day out; delicious Yorkshire food and drink, clean and attractive enclosures, friendly staff and thrilling racing. We run flat racing through the summer and a wide range of other events all year round.

So today we say goodbye to our much loved Fiona Witty, who has been at Beverley for a staggering 17 years and done pretty much every role you could imagine! Sheβs heading off to York Races to be their new Operations Executive so we wish her all the best: Fi, you better not be a stranger and a huge thank you for everything. We will miss you! β€οΈππ»ππ»

Racecourse locals; don't panic too much if you see the police swarming the racecourse this Wednesday; we're not having a Grand National moment, Humberside Police are holding a training exercise between 10am and 2pm in our grandstand and might be wearing some outlandish outfits!

We've been away at the RCA Showcase for the last couple of days and are delighted to say that following our presentation with the British Deaf Association of our deaf friendly raceday, the partnership went on to win Outstanding Initiative at the awards last night. More details next week - we're currently still recovering from celebrations! π€£ππππ

Would highly recommend the 70s bus stop night it was fantastic better still it was my birthday and beverley races even put a message on the big screen from my hubby i was shocked to see my name in lights had a fantastic birthday even won a bottle of booze i go to most the meetings but this topped them all I have never laughed so much in my life π thank you and a special thank you to my hubby Dan bird for booking the premier stand and making my birthday perfect β€ x
Went yesterday for the family fun day. Lovely race course. Pity the British weather let us down but still had a good day. Would definitely recommend.
Went to see lion king at the drive in movie which was great , well organized, stewards went out of their way to help with any difficulties anyone was having , we shall defiantly be going again , hope it's going to be a regular thing
We had a great time at the family fun day this week! Two pre schoolers loved watching the horses, and the (free) rides! There was plenty to do for older kids too.
It was a scorching hot day, and it was packed out. No problems tho οΏ½οΏ½
Very family friendly, lovely and clean/tidy everywhere.... I observed the Lightowler Cleaning Team who worked brilliantly, never stood still and kept all areas spotless in spite of crowds... only one criticism, could do with another ATM machine, it was out of order 3 times in one day... public should plan ahead with spending money.
Thoroughly recommend the Great British Race Day. We came as a big family group of 11 including our parents (age 79), our grown up kids and granddaughters (1 and 5). Had a brilliant afternoon. Had it been better weather in the morning we would have brought a picnic. Plenty to do for the kids in between races with loads of free stuff like face painting and kiddies rides - how welcome and unusual in this day and age! They loved the donkeys too. Hope to come to this event again next year.
I had my Wedding reception here 14.05.16 , absolutely fantastic . Great location. Beautiful views looking over the Westwood and the racecourse. The food was excellent. Thank you to Nigel and his staff for helping to make our day perfect. Would highly recommend having a wedding reception here!
Had a wet afternoon but no problem only comment that was a bit of an issue is no small bottles of procecco anywhere apparently a supply problem!!! Well I can easily drink a bottle which of course I ordered But as it's in a bottle i.e. Glass I couldn't go to any other bar !!! As l usually like to walk around have a small bottle in each bar let's hope it's a one off!!!!!!
Had a great time with a group of friends & family on the big Saturday race day.
The weather was beautiful,got a great seat & won a few races.would recommend for a great day out.
My fourth visit .
Had a great family day with free rides for the kids and circus activities. A picnic and a few bets. Brilliant value for money. Shame about the rain
Had a great family day out at the funday ran in to a bit of trouble when car battery went flat and stewards went above and beyond to get us sorted will be back next time
Had a great days racing, the race course was well laid out and well run,had a few winner s so good day all round!
Had a great day at the races yesterday lovely course.bit steep for blackcurrant and soda Β£3.60.Don't drink and drive they say.otherwise we all had a fantastic day out and will definitely be coming backοΏ½
Great racecourse, bundles of character and lots of friendly, welcoming people. Love the theme events and the effort the racecourse makes every year to put these on. If you've never been racing before and are considering it... You can't go far wrong with Beverley

Friends and I attended yesterday for βA very British race dayβ and had a fantastic time. A brilliant atmosphere, very reasonable entry fee and a great live band.
A massive thank you to Fiona the Operations Manager who was very helpful in the run up to the event also, friendly and informative customer service.
Amazing day yesterday .... food was amazing in the restaurant and the service was superb. 100 per cent better than ladies day would definitely recommend the best of British day . Excellent all round
Never had a problem but yesterday the so called parking/security were very rude to me as I parked my car and to the car next to me, my cousin parked hers further up and it was a different man who was also rude! We always pull in and back up never had a problem, not happy,doesnβt look good on the review! My cousin will also be complaining!
