“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas” at 22 St. James’ Road this morning.
We have our Christmas coffee morning from 10:30-12:00, come and join us for some Mulled Wine, Tea, Coffee and Mince Pies. It is £1.50 entrance unless tickets have already been purchased. Come down and get into the festive spirit 🎁🎊🎉🎄🦌

Some of our Choristers will be singing with Scarborough Choral Society on the 15th December as they sing St Nicolas’ Cantata by Benjamin Britten.
Please be aware that this is not at Bridlington Priory and will be held at Scarborough Westborough Methodist Church (opposite the train station)
Tickets are £10, Evelyn Halford is our the Musical Director, Frank James is joining us to play the Piano as well as Michael Solomon Williams who will be singing in the concert

Come and join us for midnight mass, we will be singing by the Christmas tree at 11 o’clock. This is a great communion service as we look forward to Christmas Day 🎄🎅🦌🎈🎁

It is our Advent Carol Service on Sunday 2nd December, this service is candlelit and the church looks absolutely stunning. Come down and listen to us sing festive songs and carols to end the weekend on a positive note 😁 It is free entry to this service 😁

It is our annual Christmas Brass and Voices this evening with the Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band. Tickets are £10 and are available on the door. We guarantee that by the end you will be in the festive spirit.

Congratulations to Chris Too who received his ARCO hood this afternoon from Philip Moore at the YOST Gathering at Doncaster.

Many congratulations to Christopher Too, former organ scholar at the Priory. Chris has just been installed as organ scholar at Gloucester Cathedral, and we have all heard this week that from September 2019, he will become organ scholar at Kings College Cambridge!!!

Congratulations to Matthew Leach on achieving his Archbishops Award, which was presented this morning!

Morning all! Wishing you all a restful weekend! Don’t forget Nathan Laube’s organ recital this evening at the Priory, 6.00pm! An inspiring performer, and worth making the effort to hear. Hope to see some of you there! Remember under 18’s are free!

Anyone near Bridlington on 25 August? An opportunity not to miss!

Advance notice for those who will be in Bridlington on 25 August: The organ recital that evening will be given by Nathan Laube from the USA. Nathan is one of the most gifted young musicians that I have ever had the privilege to hear, and a more personable and modest young man you could not wish to meet! This will be his third visit to Bridlington and we are really lucky to get him as he is in great demand all over the world! Even if you think the organ recitals are 'not your thing', I urge you to come along and give it a try! Entrance is free for the boys and only £8 for adults (much less expensive than most pop concerts!!!). The concert is at 6.00pm. Hope to see you there! Beccy Leeson
