Sitting prominently, high up in the hills above Haworth is Bronte Barn. This stunning conversion has been recently completed by the owners and offers the discerning holiday maker everything that they could possibly wish for. Bronte Barn is meticulously presented in a contemporary style, yet still retaining that traditional feel that we would expect of a barn conversion. As you enter the barn, a very warm welcome awaits, there is under floor heating throughout, and the most wonderful large wood burning stove glows from three sides to create a soft, romantic ambience. The views from this property can only be described as ‘stunning’. The views far across the valley and down to the picturesque reservoir below set the ‘perfect’ scene for any holiday. You can enjoy the luxury of this top spec accommodation whilst soaking up the scenery around you. There will always be plenty to keep you entertained at Bronte Barn. The dining table can be easily converted to a wonderful slate bedded snooker /pool table, and provided for your pleasure is a 46” plasma screen TV, Blu-Ray /DVD Player, WiFi, and the ‘oh so’ popular Nintendo Wii which is bound to provide hours of entertainment for both children and adults alike! After testing your fitness inside, you may find time to venture outside to explore the stunning scenery that surrounds this property. For the keen walkers amongst you, this is a ‘paradise’, with many famous walks passing the doorstep including the ‘Pennine Way and ‘Millenium Way. The area is steeped with history and famous for its ‘Wuthering Heights’ connections in the nearby village of Haworth where the Bronte Sisters were brought up. Wycollar Country Park is just a mile or so down the road, so there certainly is something to suit all your tastes. However, once you reach Bronte Barn, you may well just want to stay and enjoy the luxuries and stunning scenery on offer.

Sneaked across the border to test out one of our favourite places to eat to make sure it was still up to scratch after a management change. And we are please to say we even managed to make a deal for everyone else. 20% off food at The Alma Inn, Laneshawbridge.
We spent a few days here after renewing our vows on our 30th wedding anniversary. The barn is absolutely stunning with all mod cons. The views are amazing and there is nothing that is too much trouble for the owners to do to make your stay feel special. The welcome basket is a nice touch and the fresh flowers added to this. You know you are in the countryside when you have horses living next door, chickens running round the yard and ducks knocking on your door with their beaks for bread. A wonderful place that we will be back to visit again in the future. Thanks Ian and Cate.
We just spent a week at this beautiful cottage. Cate and Ian made us very welcome. The views from the cottage are fantastic. The cottage is cosy, comfortable and luxurious. The welcome hamper was full of beer, wine, cake, crisp and tea. A perfect start to a perfect holiday. Thank you Cate and Ian for giving us the opportunity to share this corner of Yorkshire. We will be back.
This a beautiful well equipped barn set in stunning scenery. It has lots of hens & ducks wandering about & 2 very friendly horses. The owners live next door & very generously hand in fresh eggs throughout the week. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Just returned from our sixth visit to this beautiful accommodation. Cate and Ian are wonderful hosts and the hamper of goodies they supply is lavish, not to mention something special chilling in the fridge. The barn is fully equipped with everything you need and absolutely spotless. The south facing patio offers stunning views and is excellent for relaxing with a cold beer or glass of wine after a day out and about.
There are lots of great places to visit nearby and plenty of good pubs and restaurants.
Can't wait to return next July.
