Went here on the 17th December and what an amazing afternoon we had. The food was amazing, fillet steak, Sunday dinner are to die for. Went down well with proceco. The service was excellent. Will definitely be going back. 10/10. 🙂

Took the family (8 of us in total) and we all had a really enjoyable evening.



The appetisers (starters) were almost main course size dishes and the quality of the both starters and main courses was excellent.



I ordered the halibut steak served on colcannon but asked for no butter sauce. The chef came back and offered to make me a sauce of my choice rather than the dish be too dry. When I asked what other sauces were available, the chef replied "you tell me what sauce you would like and I will make it for you!" �



Finished off the meal with liqueur coffees, some of us wanted our liqueur inside the coffee, some of us wanted our liqueur on the side....... nothing was too much trouble and the waiting staff served each coffee to the right person.



Waiting staff were very good. Efficient, helpful and very friendly. The restaurant was busy and we were a large group and they still made us feel very welcome.



All around, a very pleasant experience and one that we hope to have again very soon.

Me and my gf had meal here just over a week ago and this place is outstanding it's the second time I have been and both times the food, service and hospitality was incredible I have eaten at many restaurants around hull and in my opinion this is by far the best with the best tasting food.

Lovely food, atmosphere and service! Not too fast, not too slow just relaxed. Olives and Belly pork �awesome. Long list of drink choices and I Would definitely go again.

Lovely food good atmosphere. Had the broad bean hummus and crisp bread for starters which was delicious and really refreshing followed by the chicken dish with warm mange tout salad which I would highly recommend.

I booked a table for 22 for my husband’s 30th birthday. Right from the booking communication was fab. I brought a cake which I made and they were more than happy to store, bring out and provide plates/knife so that we could have this after our meal. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. There was a lovely lady on the bar (tall lady) when we first arrived who was chatty and quite funny which made our visit right from the start welcoming and enjoyable. The food was lovely- every person enjoyed their meal. Starters and mains were out promptly meaning no one was left waiting for their meal which can often happen when visiting places in such large groups.



I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone- we had a 5 year old and 2 year old too and they were well catered for. Fantastic atmosphere and feel to the place- even on a not so busy Wednesday evening.

Had a fantastic dining experience here last night. Went with my husband to show support to my daughter who is working here as a chef. We shared a King Prawn Thermidor starter and it was beautiful. Piping hot, tender prawns in a delicious sauce. I had the Rack of Lamb for the main course, and hubby opted for Fillet Steak. Both were cooked to perfection, the steak medium rare and the lamb tender and pink. I got a side of glazed carrot and cabbage which complimented the meal really well, although not necessary as there was plenty to go at on the plate anyway. Would have liked to try a dessert but we were sufficiently full and didn't want to spoil it. The waiting staff are very friendly, attentive and efficient. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them even though the restaurant was full and buzzing.....service with a smile! Would definitely choose to come here again and try out some more of the tempting dishes. It's not cheap but you definitley get what you pay for. Compliments to ALL the staff!!

Food and gins were amazing yesterday lunchtime. Great place for a girls lunch out!!!

One pointer for the management - no need for every member of staff to come and ask if all is ok. It’s good you care but too much is rather annoying.

Finally ate here for the first time last night, was part of a general casual drinks night so we got 5 starters to share & my oh my they were fabulous!! Including scallops with black bean purée and king prawn thermidor we were thoroughly impressed & satisfied with both the food & cocktails. Service was also fantastic - staff all so attentive & we spoke with about 4 members of staff! 👍🏼👌🏼

Fab service from beginning to end when booking a table for a large number of people. Brilliant service on the day and beautiful food. Definitely recommend the king prawn thermador. Will for sure be returning. We do not have one complaint, they was very accommodating as we had brought balloons and a cake.

Didn’t eat on this occasion only popped in for one drink but ended up staying for a few more! Saturday tea time, so pretty quite and got a table easily, lovely ambiance, friendly staff, place started to fill up as the evening wore on with diners, have tried the food a long time ago but have never been back there to eat again ( wouldn’t like to review food at this time because it’s been a while and feel I couldn’t give it a fair review) that alone, says something I suppose.

Came for lunch after our daughters graduation yesterday the food and drinks were delicious and the service very good ... will definitely be back Thankyou �

Been here 3 times now and it's always amazing! The staff are all lovely and helpful. The food is expensive but it's worth every penny as it's so nice! The deco is nice and it's all very grown up and relaxed. We definitely will be back!

Amazing once again had beautiful meal last night I had the scallops then the duck wow my partner had the themador prawns these were to die for I need some again soon he then had the pheasant which he never had before fab choice it was amazing the sauces that come with these dishes were fantastic the flavours going on these plates � we eat out a lot at good places and this is one of the top of our favs thankyou to the chefs and staff have fab Christmas and new year ...ps ca you come cook my Xmas dinner ��

Amazing food! Went on the 17th for a Christmas night out. The restaurant was packed out but still service and food was excellent. I had the filet steak which was cooked perfectly med/rare, others had beef Sunday lunch which looked equally as good. Love this place, would highly recommend 👌🏽

Absolutely loved the food here tonight. I had the scallops to start, then the halibut, finished with the peanut butter and chocolate torte. My partner had the duck to start, the venison and then the lemon and vanilla cheese cake and he was equally as impressed. Very attentive waiters/waitresses who were all really lovely. Will recommend to everyone I know.

Went to butler whites for a wedding meal for my best friend pre ordered our food 3 weeks prior. Got seated was told they changed the menu and had no venison so I had to choose something else at last minute, my partner ordered wings to start after everyone elses starters came out he was told they ran out of wings so he had to chose something else by the time his starter came out everyone had finished theirs so people were eating their mains while he was still on his starter, they forgot our chips and took around 20 mins to come out after asking 3 times, by this time we had finished our main course so had to eat our chips separate and my friend ordered plain chicken and it was accompanied with what looked like an arm hair under the chicken she asked for a fresh one and waited almost 30 minutes for it! I admit the food was nice but the service was below average and I wouldn't go out my way to go back again, on a plus note the waitresses were very apologetic however over rated and over priced in my opinion.

The door staff at this place were so rude they told me and my friend (a very high profile guest) we weren't allowed in because we had trainers on!!!! And may I add we both had limited addition ones on from NyC. The place was dead no one in there we was about to spend a lot of money as I was excited to check the place out living in London for the past 10 years I was proud to show of my home town to my London friends!!!!! I also see there is lots of no trainer comments on here do you not no that the most famous members clubs in the world allow you in with trainers on ? (iE soho House ) iv even been to the savoy with trainers on and the Ritz's!! I think you need to take a look at the way you Handel things and get into 2017!! Iv never been spoken to so rudely at a so called bar/cafe.
