Wow..... what can we say..... Me and my husband got married here on 21st July 2018 in the Balmoral Suite and from start to finish it was completely perfect. Leila assisted us throughout all of the planning stages and was thorough and professional.... an absolute pleasure to work with! Mehmet.... you ran the entire day with absolute precision. You are a credit to Cave Castle and helped to give us memories we will never forget. Every person who spoke to you commented on what a gentleman you truly are! Thank you to everyone at Cave Castle...... it was genuinely the best day of our life.... we’d give anything to do it all over again! Lots of love Briony and Chris X
Where do I start, absolutely fantastic day/evening the service the staff nothing too much trouble, amazing food and drinks again lovely polite staff, and then our honeymoon suite absolutely fantastic. Went to a wedding here over the weekend, beautiful venue and surrounding area! Wouldn’t believe it was Hull! The toastmaster I believe our’s was Colin was great! And looked after us guests while the Bride and Groom got pictures! And even another gentleman behind the bar in the evening went searching for more pink gin for me!! 10/10 just for that!! ❤️
We opted to stay at Cave Castle for the good food, pool and fitness suite and we weren’t disappointed. The food was lovely, the facilities pool/gym were great and the room was clean and comfortable. The actual castle is very pretty and in a beautiful setting.
The staff were friendly if you’re visiting be sure to nip to the golf bar to say hello to Kate who was very welcoming. At dinner Mr Neil kept everything under control assisted by Tom and Adam whom were our waiters and did an excellent job.
Thanks everyone you made our first night away from the kids special, hopefully one day we will be back.

Took my wife here for a night away (7/7/18), from the moment we arrived we both thought we where gonna feel out of place sin somewhere that looked like royalty lived........this was definitely NOT the case, we were greeted at reception by 'tandi ', who was very polite and friendly. We got to our room which was lovely, went straight down to watch the football in the courtyard, the 2 female members of staff there were again so friendly. We went for a walk around the beautiful grounds then went back the room for a shower and then on to our evening meals.......to say the food was delicious would be an understatement. Again, the waiters/waitress' where awesome. We then went to a little pub about 10mins away, where again the staff and customers where great. Then back to the castle for a nightcap where the night receptionist was again friendly and polite. Then breakfast, wow...so much selection and all provided with friendly smiles. All in all, superb.....loved it. Thank you for a lovely experience.
Spent a fab weekend, lovely room, helpful and friendly staff especially Morag in the restaurant who looked after us very well. Breakfast of haddock and poached eggs were delicious. Will definitely return for a longer visit as there’s much to see.
My husband bought me here yesterday for our 1st anniversary. We got married in a castle so this was his anniversary suprise and wow! Our stay at castle cave was amazing, the staff was so attentive even put roses petals in love hearts on our bed as requested by my husband, they even decorated the dessert plate with happy anniversary, the breakfast choice was the best so much to choose from and the room was lovely and clean and I can not think of a single thing that could of made our anniversary stay any better, thankyou all, we will be back.
Just returned from our stay at this magnificent hotel and not sure where to start. A fabulous hotel in a great setting. Room was perfect with all the facilities you could want and was spotlessly clean. As for the food, we are unlikely to be eating again for a week. Sunday lunch, evening meal and breakfast were superb, all fresh and great portions. The staff were helpful and friendly the whole time and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends and next time make use of the swimming pool, spa and golf course.
I have just returned from Cave Castle after choosing this venue to surprise my father on his 70th Birthday.... What a beautiful venue... The castle is beautiful.. Rooms are well equipped (iron and ironing board, coffee making facilites, hairdryer etc) and spotless. Staff literally couldnt have been more attentive.. they even helped us hide away to make the surprise even more dramatic.... We booked this venue a year ago and your attention to our booking has been second to none... I never waited more than 2/4 hours for a reply to any questions i emailed.
My husband and brother in laws booked a round of golf, which I am informed was a beautiful course..Friendly staff throughout and breakfast was one of the best I have had.... Myself and my sisters cannot thank you enough for making this surprise trip just perfect...
A special thank you for your generous gift of Fizz, Dipped Strawberries and Truffles which you kindly put into our fathers room on arrival... a lovely touch

The whole experience from the second we arrived was amazing. I'm sat here ready to pack up and leave but I seriously don't want to. I could live here lol.
The grounds are exquisite.
The food is delicious. The best I've had if truth be told.
I can't believe how much I had eaten to be honest.
3 course Sunday lunch. 3 course evening meal and a full English breakfast. There was more breakfast to choose from in the help yourself buffet breakfast, including a choice of continental, English, cereals, fresh fruit, nuts, and juices. But I honestly couldn't eat another thing!
The room was very comfy. With large flat screen tv and a lovely deep bath.
View out of the window were lovely. We were overlooking the car park, but it was not one bit noisy. And right next to that, there was the lush green golf course and beautiful trees.
The staff were all so attentive, very helpful and friendly, but not over bearing like some places.
The pool, gym, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room were all in with the price but unfortunately we never got time to use them as we were so full after all that food, and we simply didn't get chance.
We will without a doubt come again real soon. In fact we've already decided to come for our wedding anniversary next month, this time bringing our kids and swimming costumes!!!

Having just got home from here after 2 days away I cannot praise the staff enough. We were made welcome as soon as we arrived nothing was too much trouble both at the hotel and the golf club. Darren served us at the golf club and was chatty and friendly. The spa staff were the same.

Had the pleasure of staying in this absolutely beautiful castle for the first time last night. Wasn't aware of the pool, gym etc until we arrived so wasn't able to use these facilities. I will definitely be staying again and making sure I come equipt. I stayed on the west wing which was clean and modern. The room was comfortable and warm. Wasn't aware we had to book a time for the restaurant but a lovely lady called Morag assisted us to the restaurant and her service to us for the evening was first class going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. This morning we came down for breakfast and there she was to greet us again and she remembered us from last night. Or remembered me as "the pudding lady" ����� the food well presented and tasted delicious. We enjoyed a well deserved chill out night away and will definitely be returning.
Had the pleasure of staying here for my sister’s hen do on Friday 12th January. We made full use of the Spa facilities followed by lovely tea and cake in the Courtyard Bistro. The Murder Mystery event was really good fun and the evening meal was lovely. The staff were fabulous particularly the Restaurant Manager Jonathan. I would highly recommend this hotel for any event, beautiful grounds, lovely rooms, great facilities all round, I will definitely visit again 🌟
Had a very nice evening at the valentines ball , we both had a very nice 3 course meal the steak just melted absolutely brilliant, we certainly will be going back and would definitely recommend cave castle not only for a good night out and lovely room but a meal there was out of this world. Had a nice sandwich for lunch in the courtyard before we had our treatments. I chose a deep massage and manicure, was made to feel very welcome. Spa facilities were fine, nice pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna & Steam room, there is a Gym upstairs overlooking which we didn't use as just wanted to relax.
3 course meal included in the package was really good apart from the starter 3 of us had, Asian Tiger prawns ergghhh, I would rethink that on your menu, the prawns were swimming in a lime water with grated carrot and noodles. We all enjoyed our mains, Sea bass was gorgeous and my friends said the Beef and Chicken were delicious. Puddings were good to and we were all stuffed when we had finished.
Adjoining rooms were spacious and spotless and the beds were comfy too sleep in.
Breakfast had the best choice of anywhere I have ever stayed and was very impressed, especially with the homemade cookies & biscuits... The staff were lovely and attentive...
Will definitely visit again and recommend anyone to treat themselves here... Thankyou :)
Cracking hotel, lovely staff even if they are a bit cheeky! The food was amazing too. Darren in the golf clubhouse and his staff made us all very welcome. Golf course was in great condition, overall a fantastic two days with great company

Make sure you get the room you pay for. Booked a modern room and was given a dump that resembled a 90 year olds bedroom with mismatched jumble sale furniture and decor of which there is no advertisement for at all in any of the photos on their own website, trip advisor or any other booking site.
Trailed back down to reception to be told they moved us because there was a loud function on; they had my email and phone number on file when I made the booking yet didn’t bother to contact me and let us drive over 2 hours to end up thinking I was staying in an utter dump.
Room was changed back to the original.
Pool area is the highlight of the place.

Where do I start, absolutely fantastic day/evening the service the staff nothing too much trouble, amazing food and drinks again lovely polite staff, and then our honeymoon suite absolutely fantastic. Would highly recommended Cave Castle and definitely will be going back, made our special day fabulous.

Went to a wedding here over the weekend, beautiful venue and surrounding area! Wouldn’t believe it was Hull! The toastmaster I believe our’s was Colin was great! And looked after us guests while the Bride and Groom got pictures! And even another gentleman behind the bar in the evening went searching for more pink gin for me!! 10/10 just for that!! ❤️
We opted to stay at Cave Castle for the good food, pool and fitness suite and we weren’t disappointed. The food was lovely, the facilities pool/gym were great and the room was clean and comfortable. The actual castle is very pretty and in a beautiful setting.
The staff were friendly if you’re visiting be sure to nip to the golf bar to say hello to Kate who was very welcoming. At dinner Mr Neil kept everything under control assisted by Tom and Adam whom were our waiters and did an excellent job.
Thanks everyone you made our first night away from the kids special, hopefully one day we will be back.
We booked our wedding July 2017, the staff are extremely helpful and guided us through our wedding plans. We are very much looking forward to having our special day at Cave Castle in September 2018 xx
Took my wife here for a night away (7/7/18), from the moment we arrived we both thought we where gonna feel out of place sin somewhere that looked like royalty lived........this was definitely NOT the case, we were greeted at reception by 'tandi ', who was very polite and friendly. We got to our room which was lovely, went straight down to watch the football in the courtyard, the 2 female members of staff there were again so friendly. We went for a walk around the beautiful grounds then went back the room for a shower and then on to our evening meals.......to say the food was delicious would be an understatement. Again, the waiters/waitress' where awesome. We then went to a little pub about 10mins away, where again the staff and customers where great. Then back to the castle for a nightcap where the night receptionist was again friendly and polite. Then breakfast, wow...so much selection and all provided with friendly smiles. All in all, superb.....loved it. Thank you for a lovely experience.
Spent a fab weekend, lovely room, helpful and friendly staff especially Morag in the restaurant who looked after us very well. Breakfast of haddock and poached eggs were delicious. Will definitely return for a longer visit as there’s much to see.
My husband bought me here yesterday for our 1st anniversary. We got married in a castle so this was his anniversary suprise and wow! Our stay at castle cave was amazing, the staff was so attentive even put roses petals in love hearts on our bed as requested by my husband, they even decorated the dessert plate with happy anniversary, the breakfast choice was the best so much to choose from and the room was lovely and clean and I can not think of a single thing that could of made our anniversary stay any better, thankyou all, we will be back.
Just returned from our stay at this magnificent hotel and not sure where to start. A fabulous hotel in a great setting. Room was perfect with all the facilities you could want and was spotlessly clean. As for the food, we are unlikely to be eating again for a week. Sunday lunch, evening meal and breakfast were superb, all fresh and great portions. The staff were helpful and friendly the whole time and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends and next time make use of the swimming pool, spa and golf course.
I have just returned from Cave Castle after choosing this venue to surprise my father on his 70th Birthday.... What a beautiful venue... The castle is beautiful.. Rooms are well equipped (iron and ironing board, coffee making facilites, hairdryer etc) and spotless. Staff literally couldnt have been more attentive.. they even helped us hide away to make the surprise even more dramatic.... We booked this venue a year ago and your attention to our booking has been second to none... I never waited more than 2/4 hours for a reply to any questions i emailed.
My husband and brother in laws booked a round of golf, which I am informed was a beautiful course..Friendly staff throughout and breakfast was one of the best I have had.... Myself and my sisters cannot thank you enough for making this surprise trip just perfect...
A special thank you for your generous gift of Fizz, Dipped Strawberries and Truffles which you kindly put into our fathers room on arrival... a lovely touch

I had my wedding here last weekend and I can honestly say the venue, the food and especially the staff were amazing!
I didn’t have to think, I could sit back and just enjoy the day, that went flawlessly! There was not one rude member of staff, the wedding team supported myself and husband all the way through and I just want to thank them for everything from the bottom of my heart! ����

My husband treated me to a night away here for my birthday as he knows how I love castles.
The whole experience from the second we arrived was amazing. I'm sat here ready to pack up and leave but I seriously don't want to. I could live here lol.
The grounds are exquisite.
The food is delicious. The best I've had if truth be told.
I can't believe how much I had eaten to be honest.
3 course Sunday lunch. 3 course evening meal and a full English breakfast. There was more breakfast to choose from in the help yourself buffet breakfast, including a choice of continental, English, cereals, fresh fruit, nuts, and juices. But I honestly couldn't eat another thing!
The room was very comfy. With large flat screen tv and a lovely deep bath.
View out of the window were lovely. We were overlooking the car park, but it was not one bit noisy. And right next to that, there was the lush green golf course and beautiful trees.
The staff were all so attentive, very helpful and friendly, but not over bearing like some places.
The pool, gym, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room were all in with the price but unfortunately we never got time to use them as we were so full after all that food, and we simply didn't get chance.
We will without a doubt come again real soon. In fact we've already decided to come for our wedding anniversary next month, this time bringing our kids and swimming costumes!!!

Having just got home from here after 2 days away I cannot praise the staff enough. We were made welcome as soon as we arrived nothing was too much trouble both at the hotel and the golf club. Darren served us at the golf club and was chatty and friendly. The spa staff were the same.
Will we go back....Yes we will
Had the pleasure of staying in this absolutely beautiful castle for the first time last night. Wasn't aware of the pool, gym etc until we arrived so wasn't able to use these facilities. I will definitely be staying again and making sure I come equipt. I stayed on the west wing which was clean and modern. The room was comfortable and warm. Wasn't aware we had to book a time for the restaurant but a lovely lady called Morag assisted us to the restaurant and her service to us for the evening was first class going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. This morning we came down for breakfast and there she was to greet us again and she remembered us from last night. Or remembered me as "the pudding lady" ����� the food well presented and tasted delicious. We enjoyed a well deserved chill out night away and will definitely be returning.
Had the pleasure of staying here for my sister’s hen do on Friday 12th January. We made full use of the Spa facilities followed by lovely tea and cake in the Courtyard Bistro. The Murder Mystery event was really good fun and the evening meal was lovely. The staff were fabulous particularly the Restaurant Manager Jonathan. I would highly recommend this hotel for any event, beautiful grounds, lovely rooms, great facilities all round, I will definitely visit again 🌟
Had a very nice evening at the valentines ball , we both had a very nice 3 course meal the steak just melted absolutely brilliant, we certainly will be going back and would definitely recommend cave castle not only for a good night out and lovely room but a meal there was out of this world. First class.

Had a nice sandwich for lunch in the courtyard before we had our treatments. I chose a deep massage and manicure, was made to feel very welcome. Spa facilities were fine, nice pool, Jacuzzi, Sauna & Steam room, there is a Gym upstairs overlooking which we didn't use as just wanted to relax.
3 course meal included in the package was really good apart from the starter 3 of us had, Asian Tiger prawns ergghhh, I would rethink that on your menu, the prawns were swimming in a lime water with grated carrot and noodles. We all enjoyed our mains, Sea bass was gorgeous and my friends said the Beef and Chicken were delicious. Puddings were good to and we were all stuffed when we had finished.
Adjoining rooms were spacious and spotless and the beds were comfy too sleep in.
Breakfast had the best choice of anywhere I have ever stayed and was very impressed, especially with the homemade cookies & biscuits... The staff were lovely and attentive...
Will definitely visit again and recommend anyone to treat themselves here... Thankyou :)
Cracking hotel, lovely staff even if they are a bit cheeky! The food was amazing too. Darren in the golf clubhouse and his staff made us all very welcome. Golf course was in great condition, overall a fantastic two days with great company
Very average.
Make sure you get the room you pay for. Booked a modern room and was given a dump that resembled a 90 year olds bedroom with mismatched jumble sale furniture and decor of which there is no advertisement for at all in any of the photos on their own website, trip advisor or any other booking site.
Trailed back down to reception to be told they moved us because there was a loud function on; they had my email and phone number on file when I made the booking yet didn’t bother to contact me and let us drive over 2 hours to end up thinking I was staying in an utter dump.
Room was changed back to the original.
Pool area is the highlight of the place.
