Went in to get a Xbox 360. And got one that's like new in its original box and in really good condition and works well. And I got a load of games and a 2nd controller and charger wire battery pack. I usually use game for this type of stuff but I got everything I needed and more for a great price with loads of help from the lady serving me. I'm now defiantly going to use cex more than game!

The Staff are really helpful and friendly nothing is to much trouble for them bought a Ps4 a bit back and the Lovely young lady Eve think she was supervisor was most helpful. Well done to all

I find the store has everything I never have to my collection of DVDs, Blu-Rays and Gaming stuffs. Niceful services from the staffs and helping to find an item I've being looking for and it was nice to sell off the stuffs for either the voucher or cash (with extra pound included) 👍👍👍👍 Great store to revisit to time and time again!!

Bought a DS Xl for our sons birthday,and its not working! Doesn't read the games I purchased with it!!

both a ps3 HDMI in put is broke the pad dose not work need to return it waist off 88 pound not good cex not good

What a joke this shop is, said they'd buy my working phone as non working as top layer of glass is cracked (not the screen) she had it working in her hand! so how the hell is it non working! Offered me £60 No sale, biggest rip offs going!!

To pricey. Need to understand we don't earn London wages.

So my husband had to return a wii remote that wouldn't connect. He was told to return in 20 mins so they could check it. It hadn't been checked. I went into town today with the full recept of purchase and the recept to say they were checking it and was told that they couldn't give it to me because of data protection and that my husband has to pick it up. I asked if I could show them my I'd to prove I have the same name and address but still no. So it was a waste of parking money and time. I wonder if I had been male if they would have even checked!!.

Need Id if you are over 20 for games and dvds which are 15 years and 18 years

Just traipsed into town with my son who has autism so he could buy a Ps2 controller. Got it home and realised it stank of smoke. Wiped it down and it left the wipe covered in black and crusty yellow marks! Disgusting!



Oh and to top it all off the buttons on it aren't even working properly.



So I've had a wasted trip, been ripped off, amd have a gutted child!!

It's a total rip off, never sell anything to cex as they will pay you next to nothing for your stuff then sell it on for a massive profit !

Giving cex a one star rating is a one star rating too much !!

I am really discusted in the lack of knowledge the staff members have about computer parts. 3 times I have been in today to try and resolve a issue with ddr3 ram I had bought from them. a staff member had sold me 2 8gb sticks of ram which once inserted into my computer turned out to be 2 4gb sticks. so I returned them and I was given 1 8gb stick and they refunded me for the other as thats all I got told was in stock after inserting that stick it turned out that it wasnt even functioning as my computer wouldnt even turn on. again I returned the stick of ram to be given another 8gb stick which they even made me wait 5 minutes for so they could test it. again I took this home and tried it in my computer to find out its only a 4gb stick. so I returned to cex again to try and resolve the situation only to be offered a refund which I declined due to requiring a ram stick in my computer for the weekend. this issue is still on going and I still haven't got the 8gb of ram which I paid for in the first place

Fucking shocking. Bought a 6 disc blue Ray set and they only gave me 3 discs. Last time I'm ever going here

Dont not buy from here!! I bough a ps4 for my partner and an ipad for myself once we got home the ipad would not work or turn on, i left the ipad to see if it needed charging and it still wouldnt turn on!!. Then we went to see if the ps4 was in working order and it wasnt!!! Controller was broken and so is the charger cable! What a waist of my time and money on such a crap place!!!

Do you know what day it is today?! Clearly your Store in Prospect Centre Hull doesn't... I was in there at quatre to 11 in the que waiting to be served. It got to 10.58 and I was waiting for them to say about the 2 minute silence for remembrance Sunday. As 11am came I stood in silence and payed my respects. Your staff didn't turn no music off. Didn't stand silent for 2 minutes didn't do anything. I think this is very disrespectful. Yes I understand some people don't do it but whilst other shops in there turned everything off and did there 2 minute silence and you still had your music on very loud. Looks like to your store profits come first before paying your respects and that wrong.
