Despite the typical British weather, our local farmers market is all set up and raring to go!
Come on down to source local produce, followed by an afternoon of classical 1940's acts!

Yet another fab weekend! Well organised, great live bands, family friendly, accommodating staff and extensivecselection of real ales and coders at Chapelfest. Looking forward to next year already!!

Well they couldn’t find our booking for our 13 people that we’d book.

BUT they sorted it straight away and a table set up for us in five minutes.

Fantastic food fantastic service really nice pub/restaurant really nice staff and great service at the bar even though they were really really busy. Thank so much it was grandmas 70 birthday we all had a great time. I would definitely go again.

We visit here regularly and have always found the service to be excellent and the food is always gorgeous

We had a 50th birthday get together for my sister ...Amy and Andy accommodated us at short notice and made the day really pleasurable the food presentation was excellent and tasted 1st class

We came to the breakfast with Santa at Christmas!! We came the day before Xmas eve and it was amazing! Very festive! The staff were amazing especially Emma as per usual! We loved every minute! We come every year and it's a family tradition! Onto planning this years visit!! Xx

Finally got round to reviewing after a manic Christmas!! We had breakfast with Santa on the 23rd December 17 and I was surprised at how well organised and kiddie orientated it was! I know it’s to be expected from a restaurant but feeding that many people at once! I was expecting Santa would just round walk the tables with a token ho ho ho for 8 quid I wasn’t expecting to get into a circle singing jingle bells loudly and everyone go up to Santa individually with their names being shouted! Forgot I’d even given my child’s name to them to be honest but she even got a little certificate. For that price you really can’t go wrong! Staff were friendly and helpful (Emma, Ella, Amy,Andy, a guy serving who’s name I didn’t quite catch and the big man Santa himself) and cheery given that they are probably well past Christmas cheer working in a bar a this time of year! Will definitely book for next year!

Donna cooked our meal with perfection. Emma and Chole provided excellent service. Chapel House is a well managed place by Amy and Andy to eat and socialise...... cannot recommend them enough. Mark B.

Great food and service a tad bit noisy as we were sat next to a hen party but apart from that not bad at all would recommend giving the place a visit if you like good well presented food and a variety of beers wines coders etc :)

The food was excellent but the waiting time was extremely slow. Too many customers and not enough staff. The two people serving the meals were friendly but both were serving our table and it became very confused. We had pre ordered our meals but they still managed to try and serve both wrong starters and deserts and were perplexed when we said we did not order the dish they brought to the table. We have been going for a Christmas get together for the last three years but will be looking for a different venue next year.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Visited here on my day off last week with my friend. Slow service. Found a hair in my garlic mushrooms, main was off of the specials board resembled and tasted like slop and after 20 min of sitting to wait to be asked if we would like the dessert menu eventually realised it wasn’t going to happen so had to ask the waitress ourselves as they were too busy gossiping in the back. Poor food, poor service extremely disappointed and it’s gone awfully downhill. Sort it out chapel house! I used to love it here!
