User

What lovely doctors and nurses ,really made me feel welcome and at ease ,I was so nervous but they really looked after me ,very friendly and was seen to very quick which made nerves disapear quickly thankyou very much to everyone that looked after me yesterday , angels is what you all are

User

Third visit. Nearly bionic woman. Great as always. Thank you

User

The treatment I received yesterday was fantastic I was informed of everything every step of the way. I had a bilateral PRP procedure on both feet. I have had plantar fasciitis along with Achilles tendonitis for over a year. This treatment involved inserting platelets into the plantar fascia under general anaesthetic. I would highly recommend this hospital for any procedure especial Dr Stanley and his team. Thanks to you all for all the support, help and treatment you gave to me xxx

User

The staff were all very friendly and helpful but also very professional too. A big thanks to Helen Macdonald for organising it all to the smallest of details....even lending me her spare trousers to wear home as mine wouldn't go over my knee after my op!

User

The staff are wonderful and very caring, outstanding thank you.

User

The physiotherapy was excellent service after my op !!

User

On Wednesday I had surgery on my foot everyone was so kind and caring and put me at ease in a very stressful situation followed up on Friday to see how I am thank you x

User

Nurses were very attentive, reception staff very helpful,

User

My mum had a shoulder repair yesterday and all the staff were wonderful. The theatre staff and her Consultant Mr Boyle were excellent.

The only fault I had was when we came to go home as the Ambulance Car wasn't available as the staff had gone home. I did ask the nursing staff before my mum went into theatre to book the transport home. When it came to going home they had booked a taxi for us which I was not happy about. I expressed my concerns to the nurse and she said it's OK he's qualified. He isn't a qualified ambulance driver he hadn't a clue how to get my mum in or out of the car and he didn't have a clue where is was going. This is not acceptable when my mum had had an operation and needed the after care to get her home safely.

User

Mr. Boyle performed a successful Total Shoulder Replacement on me last September, fabulous Gentleman backed by wonderful Staff. My Wife had a second Guided Injection into her ankle yesterday by Mr. Stanley, another lovely guy. You can't help but have total confidence in this Hospital. Register your preference with your G.P., to use this Hospital for all Orthopaedic referrals.

User

In for knee arthroscopy. Very impressed with all staff, care and facilities. Would definitely recommend. Many thanks.

User

I've just completed my 4th ultra sound treatment on my elbow. On the 4 occasions, I was taken exactly on time, physiotherapist was lovely and helpful. Had coffee in restaurant and lady there was so nice. You are all doing an amazing job. Thank you

User

I'm 38 and had my first hip replacement in January with my second at the end of March at Clifton park hospital and I can't praise all the staff enough.

From the initial consultation with Mr Maurey last October,to having outpatient physio that's ongoing,I couldn't have wished for both my operations to have gone any better.

Mr Maurey was direct and straight to the point, the nurses were sent from up above in my opinion, and the physios are the icing on the proverbial cake.

My first replacement went so well that I was discharged 23.5hrs after the operation. And the second wasn't far from that with me being discharged 36hrs after the op. And that was my choice that I stayed longer.

When I was in for my 2nd replacement, the anaesthetist found it very difficult to find a vein for my cannula to go into and after 30 mins of trying I started to panic. The same nurse stayed with me and fully looked after me like a mum would for the entire 45mins until they eventually got one in.

I was so appreciative of this personal care. I'm an utter wimp underneath the hardcore exterior and the nurse,Hillary was brilliant.

It's 16weeks since my second op and my legs are brilliant now. One is a little weak but the excellent physio team are working their magic on it for me.

This hospital in my opinion has totally and utterly changed my life (and restored my faith in human kind!)

A truly fantastic and genuinely caring bunch of people. 5* can't recommend them enough

User

I work here and chose to have a special (6th person in the UK to have it done) big shoulder operation(bare in mind I'm only 30) here under the surgeon, Simon Boyle. It was a great success and my shoulder no longer dislocates which is always a bonus. Had a good bout of physio which got my arm moving and strengthened.

Got told it could take a year to be as good as it were before but 6months in, I'm back to 70kg bench press, 60kg pec deck, 120kg deadlifts.....and this is still technically in the healing process. It was a genius operation!

User

I was at the CliftonPark clinic which is at the chapel down the road from the Dormouse, clean, quick, x -rayed, diagnosis thank you Lucy who saw me.

User

I had a Partial Knee replacement done on Wednesday 1st February. All the way through from my Outpatient appointments to coming home the staff have been fantastic, Lucia and her team of nursing staff, were so kind and made me laugh, as did the theatre Staff, and Anaesthetist. Thank you for putting me at ease and looking after me, and not letting me feel embarrassed at all. Your kindness was very much appreciated. Thank you to Mr Maury, for doing the surgery too. Physio therapy department were incredibly supportive, and informative. in the nicest way possible I hope to not need your help again, however, if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to return here for surgery.

User

I had PRP on my elbow to treat tennis elbow under Mr Boyle and his team...frim receptionist, to ward reception,to student nurse and sister...to theatre/recovery staff and the "tea lady" too......what lovely service by them all...I was an NHS patient but the dedication and friendliness by everyone was very reassuring. Nice to have a bit of a laugh with everyone. My friend stayed on the ward with me as a support due to my husband not being well and was on hand to take a call from his carers ..but Clifton Park had no problem allowing her to stay....thanks to everyone and especially Mr Boyle and co!

Dawn Bailey-Hague

User

After a very short wait for my foot surgery I was impressed by all the staff at Clifton Park Hospital. All very friendly but professional, anaesthetics, Physio, and pain relief all well explained and understood.

I had a nice quiet room and there was lots of extra pain relief in recovery which I was most great full for!

Once back in my room a lovely nurse brought me digestives and peppermint tea, my favourite.

What a wonderful service.

User

My husbands appointment was at 5.30. We arrived just before 5pm. At 5.20 a lady arrived for her 5pm appointment. The physiotherapist seeing both these people came out of her room at 5.30 to collect my husband the receptionist explained that the woman waiting was her 5pm appt but had arrived twenty minutes late. The lady herself said she would rebook. The physiotherapist said that wasn't necessary and took her through !!!! Leaving my husband, who had arrived in plenty of time, to wait half an hour !!!!!

VERY BAD SERVICE.
