Tea time visit on a Saturday. Party of 6, ( 4 adults and 3 children.) Plenty of choice across all types of food. It was well presented and cooked. Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Italian and English. Service was efficient and staff very polite and courteous. Was very busy but did not detract from our experience.

Would definitely visit again.

I've been 3 times to Cosmo now, the most recent yesterday for my son's 7th birthday (at his request). There were plenty of staff on who were very polite and regularly checked on us even though it started to get really busy (we booked at 5.30pm). They made allowances for us to be seated in a booth at my request to help my son (who is autistic) not feel overwhelmed by all the people buzzing about. Indeed it's one of only a couple places where he will try new foods and feels at home.

Brilliant stuff, very good value for money, food is always plentiful with great choice. Will be back in the future for sure!!

I always enjoy it when I go, it would be nice if they can do food for diabetic people too, but that goes for all the restaurant's

1st time I went on Fri and it was amazing fantastic food waiters and waitresses were great it was a lovely evening and plenty of space to relax and eat your meal great night thank you x

We went out for tea here as a treat at my daughters request.Wasnt very busy, staff were all friendly and as always on an evening a good variety of food on offer.Really pleased that they actually charge her as a child(she’s 10)unlike Wings in Hull who because she’s tall charge her at adult rate which is ridiculous.Would recommend to anyone as even a fussy eater would find something they like!

Finally made a reservation to eat here after attempting to drop in a few times, get seated 10 minutes after our time but that’s not too bad, receptionist very good, waiter very good too, lots of choice, cateterd for 4 different tastebuds too, some of the food could have been hotter but that’s one of the downsides to these places. All in all very lovely.

A nice selection of foods, a happy 12 & 16 year old, well looked after by efficiency & courteous staff and first time we've been so I think we'll be back

4.5 stars

The experience was very pleasant as the waiters were very polite and friendly. They regularly checked up on the table which I felt was a nice gesture.

The food was all cooked to a great standard.

The chicken tikka masala was lovely. However the chicken chunks were a bit too big for my liking. The sauce was thick and spicy which I believe makes a great curry. I believe this was the best chicken tikka masala I’ve ever had.

The dessert finger food weren’t overpoweringly sweet and all had a balanced taste but the chocolate gelatine one was quite bland but that may be how the taste is supposed to be as I do not know the name of it.

I had several plates of food and enjoyed every mouthful.

usually go at night but decided to visit at a lunch time. food was really nice but too much of he same thing. limited buffet due to lunch time BUT the food on offer was more a takeaway style. would have expected less curry dishes and a bit of meat and vegetable or even salad options. And slightly disappointed to have to pay £2 for a 14 month old, will go again but not at a lunch time

Went to Cosmo's for our son's treat for completing his sat's exams. We were booked for 2pm (we were early for around 1:40pm ish) got seated pretty quick&a staff member explained how thing's go since it was our first ever visit. Have to say those with a sensitive stomach beware! Greasy food (My tummy isn't taking it too well). First thing I tried was a bit of sushi with a hotdog in it&it tasted like crab. Unfortunately it ruined the whole experience for me because all I could taste was crab (I hate sea food but assumed that piece would be safe). I really wanted to throw up instantly&needed brush my teeth (BADLY) but obviously couldn't so sat the whole time feeling sick. The kids weren't keen on the food (Barely ate a thing) but my husband loved it!! (Probably because he didn't have to cook it) Atleast we tried it&It got us out the house. We got a discount so it wasn't all bad. The staff were lovely&the place was clean&well presented but I personally wouldn't go back. It's a case of personal taste I'm afraid.

Went to lunch and it wasnt great. Limited foods wasnt alot to choose from . Had to wait 20 mins to even sit down. No cutlery and plates had to wait. No gravy with the mash for my son riduclous. Desserts were nice and at least we could have bottomless fizzy pop. Not a great experience at my first visit to cosmos :(

User

Visited this week for lunch but honestly have to say I was dissapointed. The food tastes all the same, lack of variety and I also felt like it tasted like pre-frozen ready meals. Italian pasta was the worst thing Ive had. Back to WINGS in Hull it is. Can not compare at all.

Today me and my friend with our 3 children visited your establishment for lunch, whilst the food was ok and the staff were polite, my little one received a nasty burn thanks to an ill placed hot soup pot.

A staff member did bring over some ice to place on the burn and we spoke to another staff member who then called over the manager, who's view was that due to a sign being in place it wasn't their problem or responsibility if young children were injured due to the position of wrongly placed kitchen equipment.

Surely this is a health and safety issue????

User

The staff are polite and we were seated quickly. However, me and my boyfriend got there at 8pm and there was hardly anything out. It came up to about £38 but we barely ate. The desserts looked great but when we tasted them, we spat them back out. Really wasn't impressed. If it's an 'all you can eat' then surely the food should always be stocked up for more choice?

User

Yesterday there was limited food available and the workers still allowed people to eat in the place, there were hardly any Italian food or Indian food and was still charged full price even though we barely ate! People were charged before they went upto get food so they got payment even though there was no food to feed the customers. Hygiene is not priority as a young male Worker did not wash his hands after using the toilet and carried on collecting plates off the tables!

User

Went on a Saturday lunchtime, hardly any choice of food! All the puddings left was just gateaus pulled from a box. The choice from a every section of food was just poor and nearly every choice which was available was empty. Won’t be going back

We are 2 vegetarians and nothing was labelled up we had to guess. Even the 'chefs' didn't know. Was the cheese vegetarian in the pizza? Which desserts were gelatine free? Which dim sum were vegetarian? Were the potatoes cooked in veg oil?

It shouldn't be that hard to put a veg or vegan sign on the labels.

Manager said 'waiting for new labels'.

Great concept, food average, service poor. Been to better World Buffets.
