Whenever I just fancy a coffee, I can pop round in my slippers!!! And I often do just that!! Rachel never bats an eyelid. Beautiful quaint little tea-room. Thanks for looking after the 12 of us on Saturday, even if we were a wee bit noisy. Here's to the next time xxx

What a find! Excellent service from all the staff, brilliant location at the side of a lake, especially on a sunny day. We had club sandwich with tea and latte, all very very nice and tasty then of course couldn’t resist the cake, raspberry meringue cake, lemon cake and fruit scone all gorgeous, and another cuppa. Came to approx £45 for four of us, very reasonable. Will definitely be back, enjoyed every minute of our visit.

We popped in this lunchtime and sat outside with our cocker spaniel puppy. I had cheese, chutney and bacon on toast and my husband had a jkt potatoe with tuna and salad. Both cooked fresh, presented lovely on quaint vintage style crockery and tasted great. We had to try the sweet goodies on offer and decided on Rhubarb pie and Bakewell tart. Both served warm and I had cream with my Bakewell. The Rhubarb Pie was extremely good. The Bakewell Tart was a perfect texture with pastry as light as a feather. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the cafe sits over-looking a fishing lake. Very pretty and peaceful. Fab little cafe and will definitely visit again. Well done to all!

Tuna wrap delicious followed by scone. To say I couldn't eat anything rest of day. Brill place and staff returning soon

The jacket potato was delish.cheese and coleslaw. Not sure if you do gluten free as I'm a ceoliac but the jacket was lovely.

User

The food, whether it's paninis, scones, cakes or any of the other tasty bites they have, all is fresh and extremely well made and served! The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The new location means you can enjoy good food with a beautiful view. Can't wait for summer to sit by the lake with cake. Maybe the one thing missing is gin .

User

Loving your new tea room but can I ask if you do gluten free as I am bringing a friend and she is gluten intolerant as am I and I don’t want her sitting with a coffee and no treat x

User

Lovely place and right on my doorstep. The salad I had “tuna crunch” was delicious, nice homemade mayonnaise, raspberry and passion fruit scone was gorgeous with white chocolate on top and my favourite Yorkshire Tea in a china cup ! The setting is so peaceful with lovely views onto the fishing lake , definitely recommend a visit , perhaps book first if there are a few of you 😋

Had a lovely afternoon tea here today, the sandwiches were my fav... the bread was very fresh and soft, I couldn't eat it all so I fetched a doggy bag home with me. Cute and quaint little place next to a pretty fishing lake, will be lovely in the warmer weather and the staff service was amazing. Thank you very much <3 xx.

After seeing a friends post on Facebook I booked a table for today, so glad I did.

User

Absolutely love this place. It's beautifully decorated, nice relaxed atmosphere and the girls are so lovely!! Eaten different things each time I've been and everytime been gorgeous! Lemon and blueberry scone a lovely lady also helped make my tea as I was feeding my baby, in my book this is going above & beyond with customer service and it's not something you get alot of places now a days! Already looking forward to my next visit!!
