POLITE REQUEST Please could I ask all parents again to not come into the gym at the start and end of your child’s class. We have had several incidents in the last week or so of parents and younger siblings being stood around and even on the beam mats whilst a class is working on the beams. We realise the gym is busy and space is tight however the safety of the gymnasts is a priority. It is also extremely difficult for the younger children to use the toilets. I don’t want to h...ave to stop parents and siblings from using the toilets but this will be considered if the situation continues. If you could please wait in the waiting room and it will make it much easier for coaches to ensure the little ones get back to their parents safely. We can’t see them leaving in the mass of parents stood in the entrance. They are getting their feet stood on by parents in shoes and it’s just not safe. We want parents to be able to see their gymnasts and so we have the window in the waiting room and are happy for people to watch at the end of the corridor but please don’t creep into the gym or block the toilets. 🌟 Congratulations to our Grade 6&5 gymnasts who travelled up to Catterick this weekend to compete in the Yorkshire Grades competition. It’s always a tough comp and a the girls did brilliantly. We are really proud of their hard work and they were a credit to the club and a pleasure to take around. Club Grade 6 Jenny Clark- Distinction 6th Place overall 🎗 Chloe Molloy- Commended...
