Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone involved in trying to contain the situation at Notre-Dame.

Thanks to the Minster Layclerks and Organ Scholar for their concert today for the Friends of Doncaster Minster.
Thanks to the Organ Scholar for her Organ Solos and to Jimmy Wood for his solo. A superb afternoon tea was served after the concert followed by the Friends AGM.

User

Wonderful to see so many at our service for Mothering Sunday this morning, and especially pleased to celebrate the success of six choristers who have achieved their blue Voice for Life medals, and to enrol two new senior choristers. A fitting reward for all their hard work and of course the support and teaching from Darren our Musical Director.
We were also happy to welcome the pilgrims of Navigators of Faith who are journeying from Malmesbury Abbey to York during Lent carrying a 12’ cross.
Finally, our thanks also for the contribution from the Minster Flower Guild who prepared over 100 bunches of flowers that were blessed and distributed by choristers during the service.

User

Good sunny morning everyone. If you are out and about in Doncaster today it is a good opportunity to see the Minster’s beautiful stained glass windows as the sun shines in. Visit between 10.30 am and 3.30 pm and see the windows at their best. Everyone is welcome

We took part in the tour of the tower today. Wow! Absolutely brilliant. We've learned lots and it was so interesting, my son and I were fascinated. Thank you so much, it is clear how much work is needed by you guys to maintain the minster and I have a new found fondness of the building . Looking forward to any future events.

Shalom & Hello dear

Doncaster Minster Worship/Prayer Team!

Thank you for another lovely 11:00a.m. Sunday Service Choral Eucharist. Very moving, relaxing and welcoming!

Please 'Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.’

PSALM 122:6

Please can you also pray for OUR Heavenly Father G-d's protection over OUR town centre shops, restaurants and businesses as there have been a number of break-ins recently, causing great distress to the staff and owners who at the end of the day are only seeking to serve us in the community. Some have been targeted two or three times!

So we stand on G-d's promises and believe in His Word:-

'No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the

L-RD, and their righteousness is (from) of me, saith the L-RD.'

ISAIAH 54:17

Please pray for the salvation of those who persecute us!

Many, many thanks for all that you do for us!

May G-D bless you!

In anticipation of the return of

OUR Messiah Yeshua!!

User

Really enjoyed the concert, very talented singers and instrumentalists, beautiful location. Wonderful opportunity to surport a brilliant cause. And the mulled wine and mince pies was lovely as well.

User

Lovely! The Schultze pipe organ is wonderful.

I enjoy the monthly lunchtime recitals

User

Lovely building with a really interesting history and friendly Church watchers 😊 I stayed at the Premier Inn opposite and had a lovely view of the Minster and grounds from my hotel room 😊

User

I absolutely love Doncaster Minster. I went into the Minster a few days ago. I was stressed and very unhappy. Upon arrival I was met by a lovely Lady who asked if I would like to look around. I said that I would but could I be alone for a few minutes to pray. This Lady was wonderful and gently took my arm and directed me to one of the front pews.

I prayed for a good half an hour, a thousand thoughts and worries swirling through my mind. I looked down the Nave and up at the great stained glass window. The Sun was shining through and I was struck by an absolute sense of peace and calm. It was quite extraordinary, I really mean that.

I got up and had a quick look around the Minster, and as I left I waved and thanked the Lady who had been so gentle and kind to me.

I will definitely be back in a few days and I think on a more permanent basis as well, thank you, Doncaster Minster!
