We went last night with a group of 9 for my husbands birthday. The manager was great, really accommodating. Staff were very attentive. The food was amazing! The best food I have had in a long while. Don’t change the menu there is so much we all want to try and will be back again! Can not recommend this place enough. Thanks for a fabulous night.

Very wide range of Gins from around the world with amazing cocktails made to a high standard! Well worth a visit!

Popped in on Wednesday evening for a quick drink, very knowledgeable bar staff who were happy to recommend different types of gin and accompanying tonic waters. Will definitely be back.

Popped in for lunch a couple of times this week and can’t wait to return. Food was fantastic, drinks were fabulous and the staff were warm and really friendly. On our visit at the weekend, we were lucky that we were able to sit outside which is such a great place to sit with a gin and tonic - great selection and presentation. On our most recent visit, the weather was not so good so sat inside, which is also a great place and a completely different experience.

Organised a friends hen do here, they catered for 25 of us and the food was lovely! Staff were very helpful and accommodating, will definitely be returning!

Friendly Staff, amazing food and of course great Gin choices! I highly recommend popping in for food, the Crab & Prawn Pasta is a personal favourite. The outdoor seating area is lovely and the overall decor is perfect. Good to visit at anytime of the day!

All too often, a happy first visit to a new venue becomes a disappointment on return. Not so at EYGC. Our first visit was so good we thought that it was a fluke. The return visit rewarded us with superb food, thoughtful service, and a decision to return again.

This kitchen knows and delivers good food. Our seafood sharing platter was the best we've had this side of Penang, or Bangkok, or Hong Kong - choose your own seafood memory.

The music's a bit variable. First time a little loud, second time all was calmer. Haven't eaten at the dog friendly open area at the back yet, the weather was against us, but our two Schnauzers will report back asap

A great addition to Beverley's restaurant scene. Hope they get the support that their kitchen deserves.

Went in for the first time yesterday for a pre-meal drink with my wife. Barman was attentive and knew exactly what we wanted and how to prepare it. Went out into the lovely garden area which looks amazing...however we realised on closer inspection that the fake grass was literally crawling with ants and there were hundreds of them. We moved to the gravelled area where they weren't a problem and we finished our drinks here before moving on.

Nothing wrong with the drinks or the service but i hope the ant problem gets sorted as it wasn't very pleasant.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. The range of Gin's on offer is amazing! The drinks are very well presented. I would definitely recommend a visit

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, lovely gins and excellent food. Service is a bit slow, but if you’re there for the evening it’s not a problem.

Service is appalling, stood at the bar for 5 minutes whilst 3 members of staff had a dispute over something. Had another long wait for someone to come and take our order then another long wait at the bar to pay, needless to say we won't be returning which is a shame as the food isn't bad and the garden is perfect on a sunny day.

I used to work here and found it quite patronising at times. I didn’t get paid on time twice and had to ask for my wages a few times which isn’t something you should have to do. I had to in-fact get my Mum to go in 3 days after I was meant to be paid and ask for my wages which the manager replied “I haven’t done them yet”.



I worked every shift I was given and requested a weekend off 3 weeks in advance and this was confirmed to be okay. Then I realised I was put on the rota to work the weekend I requested off so I told the manager and he said for the second time this was okay. After the weekend had passed the manager removed me from the work group chat and my hours were cut from there. He didn’t speak to me about this and from then on he gave me no more hours. Upon asking about why I had been removed and questioning the rota he replied with “what’s your point” which I found quite unprofessional to be honest. Recently I realised the same thing had happened to two other people and I just wanted to make future people aware about how I and others were treated there.

Group of friends booked for a sharing platter meal on a Friday evening. Drinks table service was incredibly slow, but food service was much worse. We waited around 90 mins before food was served. Perhaps our order was forgotten as other tables seemed to be getting their meals. However, the fact that waitresses did not notice we were ‘foodless’ shows a lack of proper training. We chased up our food twice, the first platter arrived, the salad garnish was not fresh, then we waited another 10 mins for the other platters. These had food elements missing, as we checked the menu. Some of the fish was cold, which put us off eating it - we sent that platter back. We had only ordered food platters, so minimal prep.

The reason for 2 stars is others seemed to be receiving their food, we asked for a free round of drinks and received them and the manager came to apologise and waived the whole bill. So perhaps training is required and a refresh on good customer care when waiting tables. A costly night for the venue, but a cheap night for us ladies. Hopefully things will improve �

Staff were quiet rude when we asked if sold vodka as husband doesnt drink gin. They did sells beers. Only reason we asked. But replied sarcastically "erm were a gin bar". Almost all gins we asked for were sold out. Had been a busy day so fair enough. After finding a gin. The girl behind the bar used hands to add fruit, ice and berries. Then took money and wiped forehead and continued to serve. Wont be going in again. Poor hygiene and poor customer service.

Poor service. Poor attitude of staff who were junvinile and made me cringe. No gins available that were offered on the menu. No alternative gins offered. Flies everywhere. Disgusting place
