So, we can now confirm that we have a fantastic magician, a professional face painter and a bouncy castle for our carnival summer fair! We also have some fantastic stalls and carnival games lined up, as well as a children's fancy dress competition - circus themed of course. Myself & a friend dined here tonight.... the service was fabulous, the food even more so. We both had the slow cooked belly pork & it was so tender & tasty. We will return �

I visit regularly, and in all fairness i can't recall a bad experience, nice team, nice food, lovely atmosphere and especially cosey when the fire's are lit... I'll be back very soon.

A fabulous evening last night to celebrate my birthday. Everyone enjoyed it and said what a good atmosphere the pub had. The buffet food was tremendous and everyone commented on that. Thank you very much - a great team effort.

Popped in for some lunch & even though it was full, we got a table, food came quite fast & was OK

Had another good meal, nice and hot very tasty

Been many times over last few years, not had a bad meal.

Staff always friendly

Could do would with a face lift it’s looking very tired. Scuff marks all over the paintwork Air vents absolutely filthy staff always professional as usual food ok.

Usually have a great time. The food was delicious but marred by the bar manager disagreeing with me! I ordered sweet chilli noodles. He assumed of the evening menu, 2 course. I said no the main as that was a bigger portion and when from the other it was smaller. He told me that they were both the same. I know they're not as I've had both. He continued to disagree. But cleared the evening and put it on main. Then said ' they are the same size as I've seen them come out of the packet'.

Was amazed he said that

My husband and i thought we would try here as recently moved to the area , drinks was fine , as for the food! My husband enjoyed his mixed grill even though steak a bit tough.

I ordered sirloin medium, without the tomatoe and mushroom, and asked for salad instead (which was charged extra) it came out with mushroom and tomatoe , in all fairness they did change it straight away.(salad a bit of onion tomatoe and dressing and mostly lettuce)

I asked for the steak medium it was rare , staff asked if everything is ok I said no again offered to change it , didn't see the point as even though not cooked to my liking was still tough.

But on the the plus side my dog enjoyed the steak !!!

I was there yesterday with my daughter. Lovely place ..my food was good, the steak was well over done ..but unfortunately a member of staff was saying a vile word ( snot ) !a few time while ppl was eating. Three ladies on the next table was applaud by what she was coming out with , as they were put off there meal staff need more training on how to act round costumes! !

I love this pub but unfortunately they still do not seem to be consistent with the quality of the food they serve. I visited last week, ordered Steak, baked potato & salad & it was absolutely lovely, tasty steak, nicely cooked potato & a bit of side salad.

I visited again yesterday & ordered the exact same meal but the quality couldn't have been more different.....the steak had the texture of cardboard & was completely tasteless, the potato appeared to have been cooked several times & then reheated, the only edible thing on my plate was a bit of salad. It was really disappointing because like I said before, I really love this place, the staff are always lovely & it's got a nice ambience. But, I think we will be giving the food a miss & will just pop in for drinks. You really need to get a decent chef Eden Arms!

I was part of a group of 4 friends and we ordered sirloin steak. I asked for well done and it was nearly cremated and very chewy. Quite fatty too. I have eaten there before and enjoyed it but sadly not this time. Wouldn't order steak again

I popped in for a pint of Carling and thought I would try the baked Camembert the Camembert was over baked and the young waiter who expedited my order came back to the table for which I thought was a standard check back, however instead of asking if my food was ok, he asked if I had finished when I had only received about 4 minutes earlier.

The Celery was nice though.

We booked to come here for Christmas dinner and was a fairly large party 8 adults and 3 children so we spent at least £500 plus drinks on the booking. Unfortunately it was very poor and put a bit of a dampener on the day. To begin with when we arrived we were just stood around waiting to be shown our table, once seated there was nothing particularly special about the setting to say we paid £50 a head, just a cheap cracker placed with the usual cutlery, we had no napkins and had to go on a wild goose chase for these ! The staters and desserts were lovely but the main course was terrible. I honestly feel that they just cooked a batch in the morning and left it standing for each booking we ate around 4om so I’ll let you guess how it tasted ! The beef was bone dry and the roast potatoes were burnt. The staff who served us were very accommodating and helpful, we asked to speak to the manager and over he cane but that was a complete waste of time he was very defensive and at one point accused us of being “keyboard warriors” which I have no idea what relevance that had to our issue, he also informed us that there had been no other complaints and implied we were just being fussy ! We heard at least 3 tables being unhappy with the meal whilst we were there . I think if he had of acknowledged our issue and simply apologised then I wouldn’t have felt the need to write a bad review but he didn’t and so here I am. I woujd urge you to avoid this place - next year we will be sticking to what we know and staying indoors !

Very poor food we have been to this pub on the few occasions and I am sorry to say this will be our last ever visit my husband felt physically sick after eating here and the service was very poor there is not an option for a zero stars......

Unfortunately the food is still very hit and miss ,Which is a huge shame as it's a nice pub with a good atmosphere,popped in last night for tea ,ordered a burger and lattice fries ,and a veggie burger & chips ,there was so much grease on the woodblock from the burger which had soaked through the bread and the lattice fries were inedible due to being so greasy 😔,the veggie burger and chips were just warm ! Not good at all .Then to be asked "how was your food " by 2 servers ,we told them what the problem was ! And to be ignored !!! Why the hell ask when your obviously just not bothered ? Come on Eden arms it's not rocket science to cook basic food !
