Well what a great weekend! The weather was kind to us.... Thank you everyone who volunteered there help... Without people like you, events like this would not be able to take place.... So a MASSIVE THANK YOU!!!!! We would like to apologise for the hold ups, these were unfortunately out of our control.... The dog which held the course up for 20mins causing chaos before anyone could manage to catch it was reunited with it's owner. The decision to allow dogs at our venue is based on the responsibility of the owner to keep their dog under control at all times. A decision to continue to allow dogs on site here at Epworth Equestrian is now being reconsidered. As to allow dogs or not!

Eventers Training Day at the home of Epworth Horse Trials. The aim of the day is to develop confidence and technique over the Show Jumping and Cross Country phase of the competiton at the home of Epworth Horse Trials.
The training for the Show Jumping will be on GRASS. Cross Country Training will be on the Training Cross Country with the focus on accurate lines, balance and rhythm.
... There will be two ridden sessions which will incorperate:
- How to ride a Successful Show Jumping Round. (AM)
- Cross Country Riding Technique and Confidence (PM)
The course is suitable for a range of riders from those who are thinking of starting eventing at BE80 to those wishing to compete at novice level.
Training is suitable for all levels BE80, 90, 100 and Novice. Riders will be grouped accordingly.
#TrainWithBe Trainer Sue Ringrose BHSI and British Eventing Accredited Coach, is an inspirational and dedicated coach who helps clients at all abilities to achieve their goals. She has over 30 years' eventing experience and has successfully competed both nationally and internationally. A showjumping clinic consisting of various different exercises including establishing a 'jumping canter', riding related distances, dog legs and combinations, riding a good track and concluding in jumping a fluent track.
Course suitable for all levels BE80 upwards. Please state when booking which level you are currently training at.
... Trainer Phil Brown, BE Accredited Development Coach, UKCC Level 3. Phil competes and produces horses to National and International BE Advanced and 3* level. Phil is a calm and confident coach who currently coaches a variety of levels.
Facilities - Full set of showjumps. Large outdoor arena
Timings - The training is planned for late afternoon/early evening. 15.00 START TIME for the first group

Would Defo recommend this place we've stayed over and they were lovely the stables was brill and the ponies settled in for the night. Made us our dinner and it was lovely, so friendly & helpful

Went to the ODE yesterday & it was very well run.Everything ran pretty much to time. Great courses.Very friendly atmosphere. 5th & 4th got mixed up in my sons section but spoke with the owner & was sorted out immediately & the Sun shone so couldn't have asked for a better day.

We came to the unaf sj - absolutely fantastic. Well built course, lovely arena, great show jumps, plenty of space, amazing warm up , great access and plenty of parking - not to mention lovely cafe and friendly people. Look forward to returning

This venue is fab. Easy access via main roads, loads of parking and easy turnaround for trailers( no reversing !!). They split the pony and horse warm up which everyone prefers! The classes were small for the little jumps which is great if your just starting out and don't want a big audience. Lovely cafe. We will be back x

The Express One Day Event worked really well. Pre season Dressage on grass with great jumping courses on the surface, fab day thank you. Friendly, helpful faces as always �

Thank you to the Epwort Team for putting on a brilliant event for the Quest Regionals this weekend. A lovely friendly bunch that have been extremely helpful all weekend despite us being pains � it's nice to come to such a well ran event - thanks again you were all great xx

One of the nicest venues in the arena. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and everything is always ran well from unaff show jumping to one day events with hundreds of entries.

Lovely location. Well organised and the staff group are lovely. The going is really good and the xcountry fences and outside surface are well maintained. A lot of horses at the ODE this week end and they were out through efficiently !

Just had our first visit to Epworth and had a fantastic day!! Competed in the 80s ODE and it was brilliant. As well ran as any BE I have been too. Show jumps and Cross Country jumps are well up to the standard you see at BE and the ride around the xc track was very fun.. Lots of trees and woodlands rather then just one big field. All the stewards and staff are friendly and helpful. Cant compliment the place enough. Well worth a 200 mile round trip..thank you everyone �we will defiantly be coming back...maybe 90s next time..!! X

I had a great experience with my youngster at Epworth's recent BD competition (apart from 2 loose horses as I was about to go in the arena! �) The other competitors were very supportive especially when they could see my horse was nervous. The staff were also brilliant and the facilities are great. Thank you �

Hired out the XC course and it was fantastic! Brilliant range of jumps to suit all horses and riders! Greatly spaced out between each jumps! Service was friendly and welcoming for our first time there! Would definitely come again and again!���

Have visited the last two Sundays for NSEA competitions and both were well run, well catered for and run to time. Friendly and helpful staff and even got to chat to owner as I was warming up our team and helped move the warm up jumps.



Not the easiest place to get to in the world but its so peaceful when you do get there it makes it a pleasure to compete.



We will definitely be back!

Have been to epworth for unaffiliated showjumping and club mixed jumping about four times now. Every time has been enjoyable and came home with unexpected rosettes. The warm up is a nice area and the jumping arena is too. It's relaxed and friendly and everyone is helpful. Owen is a fantastic tannoy and gate man he's funny �. Would highly recommend going to epworth. Looking forwards to trying the xc fences soon

Had a fab day yesterday with my daughter and her new horse. Love the new layout for the xc training. It's got everything you need. People were very helpful ����

First time visiting today to use the xc schooling field. Brilliant venue, schooling field is great, friendly team and we will be back- the bacon butties smelled lush!

Fantastic facilities, well ran events and lovely friendly staff/stewards! Great cafe too!! ��
