So as it stands, this is where I am at, from kids MTB to 24" BMX, note the rear is a 26. Just got chain tensioner to fit, thanks Rob Walker. And set the brakes

Nothing much to say about these pictures, just straight forward prime and paint

Remember those cable lugs? well here is some fat bloke out of ZZ Top cutting them off, First I took to it with my Dremmel cutting disk, filed the brazing back as far as I could go without damaging the frame. rubbed flat with 80gt finishing paper then smoothed off with 200/400 wet/dry, after which you couldn't tell they where there, I don't seem to have "after" pictures of that for some reason

Ok so now we have the paint stripped off we can see why I chose this mountain bike (MTB herein) to convert into a BMX, (it wasn't the paint that made it a mountain bike lol) but it is easier to see. Look at the Geometry of the frame it has more a jump bike geometry with sloping top tube almost running straight with the rear stays, but at this point we now have a problem. MTB's tend to have lots of "lugs" that route the cables for the gears from one side of the frame to the other. Find out how i did this in the next series of pictures OOooo nail biting stuff eh!!!!

First job is to strip it of course
