We've had some enquiries for Mothering Sunday(Sunday 31st March for those wondering), we will be offering Afternoon Teas only for our usual £12 per person from noon.

Was there on Friday with my daughter and daughter in law and it was lovely.. the sandwiches and cakes were delicious all home made.. only thing was the salmon and cream cheese sandwich nobody liked.. except me � so didn't get much choice for me.. but otherwise delicious �

Took my mum & grandma for afternoon tea here yesterday and it was lovely! The decoration of the tea rooms is truly unique, there is so much to look at! Also, My grandma is 87 and struggles with stairs the staff were very accommodating making sure that we had a table down stairs even though it was busy! Would recommend to everyone! ❤️

Thank you very much to Team Hurst for making a special evening get together such an amazing culinary event!





Each course was carefully prepared and the hosts were very welcoming. Although we were focused on celebrating a special birthday for a special birthday girl, we were aware of how much care and attention went into this event and really appreciate it.

My mum treated me to Afternoon tea yesterday for my birthday. We had a wonderful afternoon. The food was delicious especially the cakes. Susan and Andrew are so welcoming. It was nice to be able to relax drink tea and chat in lovely comfortable surroundings. Can’t wait to return.

My first visit yesterday with my friend Susan, we had Salmon bake salad which really delicious and pot of tea for two, but we couldn't stop laughing because our tea pot were so large and enough tea for about eight and ten cups. We're really enjoyed our lunch and with friendly staff and very reasonable price too, we're unable to have any cakes afterward because as we're full, definitely in future we will go back again to try their cakes.

I love this place so much! All the cakes are fabulous but lemon drizzle is definitely the best. Flowering green tea is worth trying too. Plus insanely quirky decor and fantastic service.

Had afternoon tea with my friends today. I've never been before and absolutely loved the fabulous quirky decor. The food was lovely, beautiful cakes and sandwiches, the salads also looked amazing. Such a wonderful friendly place. I'd definitely recommend and am already wanting to arrange to go back.

Great place...Great for afternoon tea parties...Great customer service...Had a baby shower here, we had a problem with the date that we originally booked for and wanted to rearrange without loosing our deposit even know it was the day before we had booked it for. They were very understanding with this and were very helpful, they answered all our questions we had and were very quickly to answer queries via their Facebook page.

First visit today and I absolutely adored it. We were celebrating a hen day with afternoon tea. It was delicious. Cakes were so nice and the scones were delightful. The staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble: very attentive. Lord Hurst was very welcoming and made us feel at home. I loved the decor; so quirky and fantastic to look at. What a gem in the heart of Doncaster. I'll certainly be recommending and I'll definitely be making more visits. Thank you.

First time I’ve been and it was excellent really enjoyed being there it was well worth the journey from Northumberland to see my cousins face when she walked through the door for her surprise baby shower. The staff were really great and very friendly. Definitely go again.

First time I've been today with friends. Seeing as we all was deaf I knew something would go wrong with the food and it was jam on scones the lady that served us was very friendly and kindly gave us a plate of scones with clotted cream. We had plenty of cakes to take home at the end of day for our other half mostly was the jammy scones which went down well with them. �

Thank you for making the day lovely for the birthday girl who is having a rough time with losing her husband just a few weeks before xxx would recommend and would definitely go again with my other half xx

5 of us came here yesterday to celebrate a birthday and we were all so pleased with the whole experience. The food was lovely and presented beautifully. The staff were exceptional! They were friendly and attentive throughout. Our new favourite place for a relaxing, girly afternoon �

I went for my girlfriends grans birthday and I wasn't amused by the whole experience at all! The food was shocking and was far from worth £12 for the afternoon tea. We was asking for milk every 5 minutes in which was delivered to us in stupidly small milk jugs. We also ordered some cheese sandwiches in which never shown up and also the sandwiches that came with the afternoon tea were tiny and the filling in them was barely worth calling a filling! In addition to all of this the party of us was 13 people in the front room and there was no room! The front door was going every 5 minutes to let people In and this was really inconvenient! Will not be returning to this place and would definitely not recommend this to others!

Did not particularly like the afternoon tea. Owner asked if we liked it then shouted at me after l gave my opinion. None of the staff in kitchen had hair covers although one member had hair down her back not tied up. Cream scones left on the side not in chiller and cook stated " l baked all this on Monday". Errr its Saturday !!! Owner then followed us out of the shop and shouted at me in the street. Not professional !!! Don't ask for opinions if you can't accept you can't please everyone !
