This year we're serving bacon wrapped Lincolnshire sausage, beef roll with horseradish cream cheese , rarebit crostini and a crispy cranberry stuffing ball. Our range of homemade cakes will be our new gin raspberry & coconut bonbon, spiced chocolate orange shortbread , peppermint & chocolate cheesecake and our new Viennese mince pies . As usual we will be serving delicious homemade cranberry and orange scones with fresh lemon cream . Your picnic is served with a choice of drink. Due to a bereavement Gallaghers will be closed on the 3rd of January and reopen as normal on Thursday the 4th

visited today and had an afternoon cream tea today with friends, all we can say is wow the food was amazing and staff friendly, would definitely recommend for the afternoon tea

Yesterday I had a baby shower here ! I cant thank them enough ! The food was delicious as always � staff were so welcoming and accomodating ! Literally couldn't do any more for us. My mum is gluten free and this wasn't a issue she was catered for with a number of options of not only sandwiches but cakes too all kept seperate so they wouldn't get contaminated ! Fantastic experience highly recommended ��

We went for afternoon tea (table of 4) it was lovely.Freshly made buns Soup piping hot Welsh rarebit was rated best they'd had� Lovely choice of cakes and the scone was delicious. Thank you also to the lovely girls that served us.

We came to Gallaghers on Wednesday morning with 3 adults and 6 children on a snow day! the staff were fantastic and patient as the children made their minds up, we had hot chocs cakes, sausage rolls and toast between us, all were fab, the kids loved their hot chocs! My friend had her little one in a high chair and one lady even brought over a puzzle toy for him to play with! We really enjoyed it thank you :-)

Once again I am very happy with the service x afternoon tea was delightful I highly recommend it xxx

My husband booked afternoon tea for my birthday, I'm dairy and soya free for my baby and Gallaghers were amazing catering to it. We told them what bread we use at home and they bought it in, I didn't expect many cakey bits but was SO happy with what they did for me and the effort they must have put in. Thank you so much �

My daughters took me 4 afternoon tea today it was lovely , very welcoming , great service and delicious food , spotless , will defo be going again .

Lovely food and lovely staff. I came for lunch here today for the first time and I really enjoyed it. I will be returning here again in the near future. We was greeted with a warm smile by the young girl at the counter and the lass who served our food to was very friendly. Thank you for the wonderful customer service and look forward to coming back again

Love the service here all the staff are very friendly, I go with my daughter who has 2 children one who uses a pram , nothing is to much bother , when it's busy they still find room for us to fit in , they are lovely with my grandchildren . The food is very tasty and very reasonably priced, you are never left feeling hungry, lovely place just to pop for a cup of tea too . We'll done galleghers and all of your lovely staff xx

We couldn't pass it by without saying how much we appreciated it and we can't thank you enough. You were so accommodating and helpful. The night was a huge success. Food was amazing and service was second to none. The evening couldn't have gone any better. Would highly recommend to anyone. Hope you enjoyed it as much as We know all the ladies did!

Came in on Wednesday to warm up with 2 other adults and 6 very cold and snowy children. The hot chocolates and cakes were just what we needed on a very cold morning and a big Thank You to the staff who were so incredibly patient and helpful with all the children, nothing was too much trouble for them.

Amazing customer service and staff!! I take my little girl all of the time and the staff are always so welcoming and always fussing over my little girl! The cakes and hot chocolate is to die for� would definitely recommend to anyone, very child friendly!!

Can’t comment on food, as was only one table available asked if we could put another chair there,she was quite rude in replying can’t put a chair there,staff need to be more customer friendly
