About Gallery Revealed
Founded by Jim Black to open an art gallery in Scunthorpe for young people to display their work free of discrimination, and to provide a platform for them to sell their art in this impoverished area.
Gallery Revealed Description
Located upstairs at Old School Clothing Co. in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. While the shop downstairs will continue to handle clothing and accessories, the formerly disused first floor has become an exciting space for the youth of Lincolnshire to display their artwork and hopefully make a bit of money in the process!

Well, our exhibition has been taken down and the lights have been turned off. Thank you to everyone who made Gallery Revealed the great experience it has been. Love and farewell from the Gallery crew x
Anyone who wishes to see our exhibition should let us know in advance now, as the shop downstairs has closed and the front doors will be locked unless we have reason otherwise. Our sincere apologies for this organisational mishap.
Don't forget our exhibition is open until the 14th, with the exception of Sundays and this crazy double bank holiday we're having. Come on down and have a look at some truly fantastic art!
Thanks to everyone that came down last night, it was incredible, and I think it's safe to say we sent the gallery off in style!

Getting the last of the art in for the Naked Exhibition today, it looks incredible! The gallery is truly filled top to bottom with photography, paintings, drawings, prints, digital art and collages, I've never been so proud of what local artists can do! We even received some art from afar in the post this morning and it looks great! Don't forget we open tomorrow at 7pm, and this will be our last exhibition for the forseeable future, so don't miss out!
Don't forget our next exhibition begins on Wednesday and with more than 60 pieces of art on the walls, it's gonna be a blast! Come down at 7pm on the 30th for some of the best art in the region (and some free booze too)
Okay, ten days until our next exhibition, so get the artwork in! We're looking for anything, absolutely anything, so have it in to us by the 27th and we'll put it up!
Hey artists, we want your work! Our next show, "Naked Exhibition", begins on the 30th May and we need more submissions! Get them to us at the gallery by the 25th! Any media, any subject, it doesn't matter, we're gonna put it all up!

‘NAKED EXHIBITION’
Preview Night is on Wednesday 30th May 2012 from 7pm
Gallery Revealed is a non profit entity so unfortunately we can't provide frames for your submissions or provide print outs for digital art work. However there are no submission fees and there are no restrictions to the quantity of work that you want to submit. The commission for artwork which has sold in the gallery is 40% to the gallery and 60% to the artist. Below is more information regarding the gu...idelines for submission.

How to submit:
You can come into the gallery to submit in person or you can submit by post. Please note, the gallery is not liable for the postage fees and are also not liable for anything lost or damaged through the post.
Basic requirements:
Your collection can be framed or on canvasses or on mounted boards. Please also email name of each pieces, prices that you are selling them for, medium and year produced.
Additional:
You can also bring sketchbooks and sculptures to accompany your main pieces.

we've got 6 weeks before the next exhibition. its a bit of a free for all, there is no criteria as in medium, media or subject where exhibiting. trying to get the most packed gallery walls we've ever had, so if you want to submit any work we'd love it. this includes photography
Exhibition is tonight! Get yourself down to the gallery at 7pm for an evening of science fiction and fantasy art, chat, booze and music. Come in fancy dress if you dare! K'plaa!!!!!!
Don't forget everyone, the next exhibition, 'Art Trek', is on Wednesday at 7pm. Come in fancy dress! I think I will be a Jedi if i can find a suitable dressing gown!
Don't forget our exhibition 'Sketchbook Depicted' is open until the 7th of April, so come pop in and have a look to see if there's anything that you fancy! Most work is for sale and it goes toward maintianing the galery so we can continue putting up awesome shows for you all! Our next exhobition, 'Art Trek', opens on the 11th of April at 7pm!
