H. A. R. T. is a community based transport project providing a range of flexible services for North, Mid and South Holderness in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Back in 2003 five rural villages came together to tackle the lack of public transport. Shoe leather was worn down delivering a household transport survey to everyone in these villages, computer power crunched the results and brains ticked over a solution. A partnership funding bid resulted in bus number 1 and a service to hospitals named MEDiBUS was launched. Steadily volunteers, buses and services increased to connect residents to shops, education, social and leisure activities.
