HAVE WE GOT NEWS FOR YOU!
To all of you among our legion of loyal customers who may not already know - Henry Yeast & Son will be closing its doors on MONDAY 30th MAY. But… only temporarily while we rebrand as No.6 Kitchenette - a fantastic new dining experience concept for the community who have made us who we are today. Still involving the familiar family & friends team behind Henry Yeast & Son, but complemented by a new partner & chefs, No.6 Kitchenette is a new approach... to casual dining that we know you’ll love as much as you loved Henry Yeast.
Henry Yeast’s methods, menu style & concept will be moving over to our new marina site on Humber Street Fruit market. This new establishment Butler & Whites (named in honour of the street’s old fruit traders) will blend Henry Yeast’s strengths with what we’ve learned from our dining community over the past 5 years, to ensure we provide even more of you with a casual, comfortable, yet exceptional food experience with a twist.
We are still taking bookings at Henry Yeast & Son all the way up until the 29th of May so come and join us and be part of our farewell and learn more about our exciting new ventures. More information will be available on Facebook and Instagram closer to the time. It is an enormous pleasure being rooted in this great community and we are delighted to be able to build on that tradition with the launch of both No.6 Kitchenette & Butler & Whites in the coming weeks.
Thank-you for your continued incredible support! Best wishes from us all at Henry Yeast.

The food here is fantastic, will definitly be coming back another time, if only to work our way through the beers! Nice to see staff with a smile too even though they were rushed off their feet!

User

Superb food, excellent service, great atmosphere ! Had a great night out with the family.

User

Popped in for a beer with my hubby to finish our evening on a busy Saturday night. Bar tender showed us to a table, set us up a tab and brought the drinks to our table!! Atmosphere was great, packed restaurant with happy diners. Definitely returning for food as the menu and food that we saw looked amazing!!! Also heard good reviews from friends x

User

One of the best meals i've ever had. That, along with the best beer selection in the area and helpful, friendly staff earn the five stars. Will definitely visit again.

User

Oh my goodness.... The belly pork was amazing! Such a nice friendly place need to return to work through the wonderful menu

My compliments to the the chef and staff for the service .

User

I've been here so many times and have never been disappointed. I've tried the steak, the venison, the duck, the calamari, the brie, the capricorn cheese and the moules mariniere, and not to mention the sunday lunch on numerous occasions (the lamb and the rare beef) and have always been very happy with everything! The brownie and the apple and raspberry crumble for dessert are also to die for.

The service and staff are also extremely great, and have dealt with everything exceedingly well.

They also have a very good selection of wines and beers, specifically a fantastic choice of Belgian beers. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone - one of the best places to eat out in Hull along with 1884!

User

Good service excellent food both rich and delicious, met up to my expectations. Cant find a fault with it. Look forward to the next visit.

User

First time at the restaurant, the service was good and the food was faultless. Would recommend this place to anybody wanting great food at reasonable prices. Thanks Henry yeast and son

User

Fabulous family meal again, you never disappoint. The Prawn Thermidor and Belly Pork were delicious, as was your vanilla creme brûlée...excellent service, as always too, thank you...we're coming to sample Sunday lunch soon!

User

Can honestly say it's one of the best meals I've had. We did wait a while for it to come but it was more than worth the wait.

I can recommend the crispy belly pork!

User

Came in with my colleagues from University of Hull, wonderful food, excellent service, great beer! What a great place! well done! i'll be back

User

Best prawn thermidor EVER! My husband had fillet steak that simply melted in his mouth ! Amazing, home cooked, classy food! I want to do a masterchef here!!!

User

Busy but relaxed atmosphere. Food was delicious and didn't have to wait long between courses. Staff were very friendly and prompt. Loved the huge list of amazing beers. Definitely recommended.

User

Went in there last night at 10pm for a beer with my partner and an employee refused to serve me, saying it was a restaurant, not a bar. Venue with identity crisis? Whatever, shame. We liked it there. But it is a bit annoying when you look at their Facebook banner and then look at the shop front and then consider that we had been going in there for beer since it opened.
