Jamps Wine Bar & Restaurant Description
Who are we?
Jamps is proud to be a family run business. We are named after our four partners made of the two couples James and Anne, and Maxine and Paul. Brothers Paul and James are well known in the local community as previously managing a large oriental restaurant for many years. With the vision of being owners, they have used their knowledge and experience to create a unique and contemporary Chinese restaurant that moves away from the norm.
Beginnings…
The four partners revitalised the original Red Lion restaurant of old into something clean, modern and frankly fabulous. The new business opened just before Christmas 2011 and became a recognised local gem in its own right. It quickly proved itself to be a venue of great service, wonderful food and a cool yet cosy atmosphere. Customers were amazed to see the transformation, and welcomed a new twist in the traditional Chinese dining experience.
Now…
Jamps has grown in its reputation since opening. New customers soon become regulars, and locals now enjoy our new takeaway delivery service. We have a sophisticated wine bar downstairs for diners to enjoy before their meal, or just to enjoy a drink socially.
The restaurant is also a great venue for functions. We have hosted christenings, birthdays and anniversaries, carrying on our focus of friends and family enjoying good food in a friendly atmosphere. Our family’s values around high standards of food, service, and adding a personal touch are what we are all about.

Went with a party of 25, we all loved it, gorgeous place and the Chinese was the best I've had in years, will definitely go again.

Lovely place, lovely food, lovely atmosphere. Only complaint is restaurant gets a tad warm when busy. But it's only a minor fault.
Jamps is definitely our favourite restaurant the food is excellent as is the service the staff are very polite and can't do enough for you as for the prices we think 26.50 for a set menu for 4 is excellent value for more than you can eat we've been four times with friends recently and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future

Easily one of the best if not the best Asian food restaurant around here.
Can't fault this place fantastic service very friendly staff and the food is delicious by far the best Chinese in doncaster and if you don't want to eat you can chill having a wine in the downstairs bar which is very cozy with modern decor.
