What you don't know..
Our cool camping site has no permanent structures, and other than the odd wooden pole (and the buried bio digester dealing with effluent off-grid) nothing is attached into the ground, ensuring we tread lightly. We use minimal electricity and an increasing proportion of our energy usage is sustainable. We do however use LPG gas to heat water (which is more energy efficient than electricity). Spent water is sent to a bio digester or reed beds and then rel...eased into the ground on site.
Jollydays Glamping is a member of the Green Tourism Business Scheme, the only certification scheme validated by Visit Britain, through the International Centre for Responsible Tourism. 10% of net profits are given to environmental and educational causes.

Our tea tent is a communal space to chill out at camp as well as the camp fire..

We try to keep cars driving around site to a minimum -
so when you arrive you'll be asked to park in the car park and load up a wheelbarrow to take your belongings to your tent.. *we find wheelbarrows are kinder to the environment..

We're hoping that Spring is now well and truly on its way - so in just a few more weeks, the camp will be flourishing with leaves and plants again...

Glamping - what it’s not!
Luxury is a very subjective word and when we use it alongside camping we mean - constant hot water, comfy beds (with bedding already in place) toasty wood burners and candles.
What we don’t mean are marble bathrooms and gold taps, central heating, ipod docks, bell boys, state of the art lighting, tarmac roads and floodlit car parking. It’s not even close to a hotel, our tented holidays are set in a woodland which is wild and natural, and the soundtrack is birdsong, and the starry nights can be breathtaking.

We were very lucky to win a competition break here :) Such a beautiful place and have to say it was the most relaxing, peaceful, tranquil holiday we have ever had! Highly recommend anyone to go there! We stayed in a woodcutters hut, which was Amazing and cosy. Thank you very much Jollydays we will definitely be back again :) xx

We stayed here first week of April in a lodge tent 2 adults and 3 children aged 10, 5 and 18months and all had a great time , tents are clean and spacious the kids ran wild and free in the woods, the weather was sunny so had BBQ most nights and made use of the fab pizza oven that's round the campfire for everyone to use , we shall definitely be coming back , loved our first glamping experience

We have just returned from a fantastic weekend at Jollydays! We stayed in the woodcutter's cabin and loved it from the moment we arrived!! It was so relaxing to be out in the woods, away from wifi and electricity!! We will definitely be back!

We have just got back from our 5th holiday at jollydays and we just love the place can't wait to book again x

This place has everything you need! The tents themselves were so cute and homely and the camp grounds and the communal areas were lovely to walk around. The guy who works there (Jim) really looks after you. Every time we left our tent we returned to the log fire already burning so our tent was already warming up when we got back. Never expected this and it was really nice to know if we had any issues there was a camp person on site to help straight away. I went with some girl friends celebrating a birthday and there was also families there too so a mix of different campers. I'd definitely go again!

Such an amazing place. We had a wonderful family holiday and the woodland tent and facilities were perfect. Beautiful surroundings to explore. Thank you x

Stayed here 15th/17th June for my hen. We stayed in the large tents. There were clean and well equipped, comfy four posted bed was a plus. Hot water on tap. Very pretty woodland perfect to wake up to. Very well kept camp.

Spent the last weekend at jollydays campsite on a hen weekend and it was fantastic! The tents were spacious,clean and had everything you needed for a great weekend away, Every person on the hen weekend had enjoyed it and I will definatly return one day

My girlfriend and I recently stayed for a romantic weekend away. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the Woodcutter Hut we stayed in was stunning.

Just come back from the best mini holiday at Jollydays... Accommodation and facilities were immaculate and I really didn't want to leave!

Just been for a 2 night hen do at Jollydays and we couldn't fault a thing! The two guys looking after the camp were amazing,at the other end of the camp phone whenever we needed them.... to come and light us a fire, to warm us the pizza oven and to bring us wood! Nothing was any hassle to them!

Our tents were beautiful, the woodland surroundings everything about our stay was superb! Would highly reccomend Jollydays!!!!!

I visited Jollydays on 11-5-18 for two nights. We were a large group and we were in two of the Woodland tents. The accommodation was brilliant and we had everything we needed in the tent. We all took sleeping bags but it was warm enough with the bedding provided. We enjoyed using the pizza oven and the campfire which were all set up by staff on site. The guy on site was really helpful and nothing was to much trouble for him. We had afternoon tea delivered by Two Jays Catering which Jollydays recommended. We all enjoyed it and it and they even came back to clean up the dirty dishes after. We booked Beauty 2U who Jollydays also put me in touch with. The massages were awesome and the staff who came were super friendly. I would highly recommend this site. Thank you to Jollydays for making our weekend so brilliant.

Had an amazing weekend for my friends hen do ...if anyone fancies something a bit different this is the place ! The tents were well proportioned and had everything we needed the log fire was lovely to snuggle round....loved having no phone & being off grid for 48hours !

Highly recommend Andrew (number in the activity pack) spent 3 hours doing archery, treasure hunt and other games ...he was such a good sport...loved it x

Had a great time for bank hol weekend in a lodge tent! Our two boys (2 and 5) loved it! Pizza oven was a hit, bbqs, woodland walk! We'll be back! �� thanks!

Can't recommend it enough, great staff and fantastic stay.

Absolutely amazing place to stay! We stayed here a few years ago and can honestly say it was the best family holiday we have ever had!!!! So excited to have just booked another 3 night stay in October!!!

A fantastic visit for my friend's hen weekend. Very clean and tidy camp which is obviously well looked after. A beautiful setting! Just remember the mosquito repellent!

You could see a few years ago this place would have been amazing, it just looks a little run down, short of staff & in desperate need of some tlc. Not as amazing as the website made it look. At the end of the day having the family together was the purpose of the getaway so no matter where we stayed we would have had a great time - which we did! Just a little disappointed it wasn't all that it cracked up to be for a £600 glamping weekend �
