Today was my last day of work 🙌🏼
I just want to say a HUGE thank you to all of my lovely clients, friends and family for helping me with my little business for almost a year and half.
I absolutely love what I do so I am sad to be finishing for a while but very excited to become a mama...

Aromatherapy and Labour 🤰🏼
As I have a lot of pregnant clients I thought I would share which essential oils are good for labour and the ones I will be using...
✨ Clary Sage - Clary sage encourages contractions/surges throughout labour, if things are moving a bit slow and contractions slow down this is a good essential oil to use.
... ✨ Frankincense - This is perfect for a fast or panicky labour as it is good for relieving anxiety... It helps to regulate and slow breathing and it can help ground and centre a nervous mum.
✨ Lavender - As well as making mum feel relaxed Lavender can help with the aches and pains of labour.
✨ Peppermint - Peppermint is refreshing and can help with nausea and vomiting. This one would be particularly good mixed with water in a spray bottle to keep mum refreshed and focused throughout.
✨ Lemon - Lemon is refreshing and uplifting, this would be perfect with the peppermint in a refreshing spray. To keep mum refreshed and cool.
I will be mixing oils into base oil so it is ready to use on the day... throughout labour ask your partner to massage them into you. DO NOT USE UNDILUTED ON THE SKIN. Always mix with a base oil (coconut, vegetable, grapeseed etc)
Also speak to your midwife as some oils cannot be used if you have high blood pressure etc.
