Well what can I say, had an absolutely awesome masterclass with April who made the entire experience an absolute awesome time for our group! Highest compliments to her funny style and hosting! Really engaging and fun tuition, as a group we found it really entertaining and interesting!

We had our hen party in the tiki bar 15 girlies of various ages !!! It was great the booth was fab and the DJ was great he really kept an eye on us and helped move on some guy's when they came and sat in our booth highly recommend this place they really looked after us well

It's a very nice venue with very nice toilets. Nice bar area and the toilets are very clean. Not only are the staff incredibly friendly but the toilet facilities are fantastic, with smooth as a baby's skin toilet paper (pardon the pun!), aside, cannot understand why the bars of soap are in the Urinal. Nonetheless would recommend to all wanting to have a banging night (pardon the pun)

I booked the VW Camper Van in Tiki Bar for my friends 30th birthday last night. It was absolutely amazing and certainly something i would book again! The music in Tiki Bar was spot on with plenty to sing a long, and have a dance too. Carly our hostess was amazing and made us all feel very welcome, and even came to say goodbye to us at the end of her shift. Adam, one of the bouncers at the top of stairs (who also helped with my booking) was also very polite, friendly and professional. I loved having chats with him throughout the night and he was also a hit with the other ladies in my group!

Even though there was some violence with other people in the club in the early hours, the bouncers acted quickly, efficiently and professionally at all times from what we saw. I would definitely recommend this club to anyone visiting York and I can't wait to come back again! Keep up the good work and we'll hopefully see you soon. �

Booked this place for a cocktail making class for my birthday - we had THE best time and the barman josh (who I managed to call Jamie the entire night - I had had way too many drinks sorry!) was professional fun loving and just a really nice guy! Especially dealing with 11 drunk women who had free reign of his bar! �� Couldn't recommend highly enough to anyone wanting to have a good time - I have the mother of all hangovers today too � brilliant night! Thanks so so much!

Booked for my 40th birthday. Had the cocktail making class with April (who was born in January!!) Brilliant fun and very messy. Only downside was we had booked for an hour and a half and only got an hour but with the games and banter it still felt longer. Would recommend this place to anyone!!

We fell over this bar after walking round York town looking for a night club, have to say door staff were friendly, they checked every one who came through the doors. We had a great night music all the cheesy 80s and a dance floor above with up to date music. .



Great venue for hen/stag , bar staff chatty and even came over to ask if we needed anything. Great night would go back .

However, that was until two of the bouncers aggressively threatened to kick me and my friend out for sitting down in the corner of one of the corridors whilst waiting for a friend who was in the toilet. We were completely out of obstruction and causing no harm whatsoever, simply resting our feet for a few seconds. Left us shaken and upset for no reason

Your doormen/women are fucking job proud. They wanted more id, I proved it. Still didn't let me in. Pleasure out of turning people away for no reason and ruining nights. Be different if it was on the other foot? It's the biggest drug abusing shit tip I've ever seen and there is no wonder people avoid it. York is full of decent places until it comes to going to a club. Then places like this let it down for letting arseholes in over genuine paying customers with no issues. As long as a 16 year old is showing a bit of tit the doorman with a hat who will never see a Fanny in his life gets excited lets them in and turns away good people. It's a fucking dive and your staff are a set of cunts. Amen.

Worst club I've ever been to, £3.60 for VK's, ticket booth person was falling asleep, got told by staff before entering that it was packed but when in there were 15 people there MAX. Had to finish our drinks before leaving the club and bouncers were moody faced, not one bouncer or security of any type in the actual club, all of them stood outside having a chat and been rude to PAYING CUSTOMERS. Music wasn't loud enough and the light system was basically none existent???? Stayed there 5 minutes and I would definitely not go there again even if I was paid to!! Save your money, go to salvos and be greeted by lovely staff and cheap drinks��

The club itself isn't too dreadful, however the bouncers are nasty, unfair and aggressive. They manhandle young women repeatedly and should not be able to abuse their power like that. It is disgusting how people are treated by them, they have bruised me constantly and have witnessed many people being brutally treated by them for no reason, and it makes me sick. People merely want to have a good night (we're students we're bound to drink, this is 2017) and we are penalised for seeming at all merry.

This should be sorted, it is inhumane and simply disgraceful.

Shite place bouncers wouldn't even give me my own jacket back when I asked them, I had PAID to put it in a cloak room which i already think is a fucking piss take to pay for my own clothes to be stored and they wouldn't even give me it back at the end of the night so I have to change my fucking plans to go and collect it at 9pm, well fucking done kuda you've lost another customer you're quite good at that aren't you.

Seriously it’s like a school disco and what’s happened downstairs. Use to be some like r n b and packed on a Saturday night. I ain’t joking there was 3 people in there all night. Deffo worth the refurb lol it’s turned half your customers away.

Pay for a drink, drink gets served to some random person. Politely inquire where my drink is, get told "it's not my problem". I accept the fact that people make mistakes, but not accepting responsibility for their obvious fuckup is extremely annoying. Extremely disappointed, given that I've been to going to Kuda on various occasions for two years. Yes, it's entirely the customer's fault that the staff made a mistake. Shocking... hope they enjoyed the drink I payed for...

Never put your jacket down for a split second because you’ll get told you won’t get it back and it was your fault for leaving it. Very civil place highly recommend �

My son lost his wallet here one night. I rang and spoke to someone and gave a description of the wallet and its contents. After going off to look, was told yes, they had the wallet. Agreed I would go in and collect. Went to collect, couldn’t get anyone to answer bell. Called the office and was told they didn’t have the wallet but someone would call me back. They never did. Called again a few days later, still saying no wallet and no explanation of what happened to it after they told me they had it. My son went in again, spoke to someone who said it was in someone’s car with the rest of the lost property on its way to the council. He was told they would call him later that day. Guess what?!! No call. No wallet. Appalling service.

I would give 10/10 for rudeness of staff and would definitely advise everyone to AVOID this place.

First time went to Kuda on a Monday student night it was dead. Second time yesterday on a Friday, asked the woman at the ticket booth if it was busy. She told us it was busy and will get busier. Was absolutely dead, more people leaving than going in. Left after five minutes, after being charged £7.20 for 2 VKS!!! Absolute bullshit. Wasn't allowed to leave unless we finished our drinks, crap music, lying staff, everyone is rude there, go somewhere else if you want to be greeted with something other than a complete look of disgust � !



Update: promoter lied about price of entry and drinks yesterday, and kuda Is practically a rape den. My friend was super drunk and went out with a stranger to go and puke. Had a massive argument and started screaming and no bouncers came out to check if she was okay. We told the bouncer to not let her back in because she was not in any state to even walk, she was puking and going in alone, and was let in anyway. Our friend could have been raped.
