The sooty bus is almost back on the road all damaged Panels have been replaced headlights bumper and grill,booked in for painting Thursday and the taxi test runs out Sunday so booked in for Monday fingers crossed she will be back. Polite notice please when booking taxis minibuses etc the return journey if dropping off all over will be higher sometimes than quoted as people drop out new people then get a lift and the route gets bigger. Sorry for any inconvenience this policy may cause but a 10 mile drop off is not going to be the same as a one place pick up Stay safe over the festive period and merry Christmas and a happy new year 🥳

So you cancel a minibus out as your words are yes 2 have dropped out, and change it to a car and then the return is changed to a car and when we arrive the two that didn’t want to go have turned up and now we are supposed to be mind readers and know this from a lady to not a nice lady in 3 words lovely nice speaking to you !!! It’s with a very heavy heart I write this one of my loyal customers has passed away this week, he supported me in the 11 or so years I’ve had the taxi’s we have laughed and put the world to rights on every journey, he’s had favourite cars and ones that he struggles to get in but not once complained what a guy I’m going to miss him so much but now fly high RIP Arthur Farnsworth 91 years young only last Tuesday goodnight and god bless 💔💔💔

How lucky am I, just got the logbook back for the wheelchair taxi upgraded from a 5 seater to a six seater just as I really wanted it to be, 3 days after it’s been involved in a mess I could cry I really could it’s one thing after another this year it’s been a tester for sure I’m hoping the police come with some good news on Friday and I’ve someone to claim against or with the ever rising cost of car insurance I’m stuck between a roc and a hard place a new bumper on a guys ol...d bmw who insisted it went through the insurance put my fleet policy up this year to £12000, so I really do t and won’t go through it again it will mean cutting back to far and I have a fantastic team of drivers and base staff. I am hoping this little minibus can be sorted and repaired or I’m paying for a car I don’t have. I have been made a fantastic offer by archers commercials that I might take up just so the new customers that need wheelchair access have it again so watch this space .......

The end

Been and recovered my car and have to admit I cried not for myself and my loss but because I’ll never understand how anyone can think this is right, I could have been telling a family that their loved one had died because of someone’s stupidity, seeing the damage and thinking how they felt sat in the dark after being propelled into a field not nice not at all, I’m happy to say that they walked away unscathed thank god. I stood watching my prized possession being dragged out ...of the field through no fault of our own, it’s going to affect so many people as word was out we had one and we had daily bookings for it, people that hadn’t been out in years because of the cost and the fact not many town drivers with accessible taxis would come out and now their local firm had one. In the short time I’ve had it I made new friends and had the pleasure of seeing and hearing how much Doncaster had changed since they had last been out one old guy had been house bound for nearly 3 years the joy on his face was magical he was like a little boy again, now with your action it’s gone it’s a write off the police officers in attendance are off while Friday so hoping they have some good news by then like the persons name and how do I recover my loss, it’s a mine field as to who is to blame the horse owners or the driver that left the scene, claiming for it on my own insurance is not happening that would result in me scaling down to maybe 2-3 vehicles and job losses, if I can’t claim from someone I have to stand £8000 and that hurts, so please if you know who it was please call me the police are doing their bit too.
One thing I’m so glad about is that the driver is ok a little stiff but ok it’s one for the grandkids to hear about , accidents happen and this was right place wrong time I’m gutted beyond belief I really am .

If you know who hit the horse on Doncaster rd tonight please get in touch, firstly you call the police but then leave the scene, you clearly had something to hide and didn’t care about anyone else minding their own business and doing their job, luckily for you the driver is ok but my taxi isn’t god I hope the police find you , your actions could have had the worst happen you absolute cretin selfish beyond belief no care for any other road user, if you know who it is please do the right thing and call me please
